1. Upon■ the■ arrival■ of■ containers■ at■ the■ ports■ of■
the■ Sultanate■ of■ Oman,■ they■ shall■ be■ loaded■
onto■trucks■for■direct■land■transport■to■either■of■
the■two■centers■)Khatm■Al■Shiklah■or■Mezyad■
/■ Abu■ Dhabi(■ under■ a■ guaranteed■ customs■
transit■status.
2. All■ land■ transport■ operations■ shall■ be■ carried■
out■ under■ guarantee■ in■ accordance■ with■
the■ customs■ transit■ guarantee■ procedures■
applicable■at■Abu■Dhabi■Customs.
. Upon■ the■ arrival■ of■ containers■ at■ either■ of■
the■ two■ centers,■ they■ shall■ be■ received■ in■ the■
designated■ customs■ yards■ therein■ until■ the■
currently■ applicable■ customs■ procedures■ are■
completed.
. The■ goods■ shall■ be■ cleared,■ depending■ on■
their■type,■at■either■of■the■two■aforementioned■
customs■centers,■and■they■may■be■transported■
to■any■of■the■ports■of■the■Emirate■of■Abu■Dhabi■
under■the■same■guarantee■until■the■completion■
of■their■clearance■procedures■there.

1. AD■ Ports■ Group■ shall■ coordinate■ with■ the■
concerned■shipping■line■or■its■approved■agent■
to■ transport■ containers■ under■ a■ guaranteed■
customs■transit■status■via■trucks■to■the■ports■of■
the■Emirate■of■Abu■Dhabi■to■complete■the■final■
clearance■procedures.■AD■Ports■Group■shall■act■
as■ the■ guarantor■ for■ shipments■ transported■
under■the■transxit■status.
2. The■ concerned■ shipping■ line■ or■ its■ approved■
agent■ must■ submit■ the■ cargo■ manifest■ for■
the■ corresponding■ land■ journey■ covering■ the■
containers■that■have■been■discharged.
. The■ concerned■ shipping■ lines■ or■ their■
approved■agents■must■issue■the■delivery■order■
through■ the■ approved■ digital■ platforms■ for■
service■provision■in■the■Emirate■of■Abu■Dhabi,■
in■ accordance■ with■ the■ currently■ applicable■
operational■procedures.
. The■ concerned■ party,■ its■ representative,■ or■
the■ customs■ broker■ )delegate(■ must■ prepare■
the■ customs■ declaration■ and■ complete■ the■
customs■ clearance■ procedures■ in■ accordance■
with■ currently■ applicable■ procedures■ prior■ to■
the■ release■ of■ the■ goods■ or■ their■ transfer■ to■
Abu■Dhabi■ports■under■guarantee.
5. AD■Ports■Group■shall■be■responsible■for■ensuring■
the■integration■of■cargo■manifest■information■
with■ Abu■ Dhabi■ Customs’■ electronic■ systems■
through■ the■ existing■ electronic■ systems■ used■
for■vessel■cargo■manifests.

All■ports■in■the■State■managed■and■operated■by■AD■
Ports■Group■remain■fully■open■and■are■operating■
normally.
Continuity of Services
All■essential■port■services■and■marine■services■shall■
continue■to■operate■in■full■in■the■normal■manner.■
Operational■ teams■ shall■ continue■ to■ monitor■ the■
situation■closely■and■remain■ready■to■implement■
service■ continuity■ measures■ and■ alternative■
operational■solutions■to■ensure■the■uninterrupted■
flow■ of■ goods■ through■ general■ cargo■ operations■
and■sea■and■land■container■terminals.
Priority of Goods / Services
Priority■ goods■ and■ vital■ shipments■ are■ managed■
in■close■coordination■with■customers■and■relevant■
stakeholders■to■support■the■continuity■of■essential■
supply■chains.
Customer Service Assurance
Customers■ wishing■ to■ benefit■ from■ this■
arrangement■ are■ advised■ to■ coordinate■ closely■
with■ shipping■ lines,■ clearance■ agents,■ and■
land■ transport■ operators■ to■ ensure■ proper■
implementation.■ Customers■ are■ advised■ to■ rely■
on■ official■ government■ statements■ and■ verified■
communications,■and■will■be■immediately■notified■
of■ any■ developments■ or■ updates■ through■ official■
channels.

issuance,■and■all■relevant■departments■must■take■
the■ necessary■ measures■ for■ its■ implementation,■
each■ within■ its■ respective■ jurisdiction.■ These■
instructions■ shall■ remain■ in■ effect■ during■ the■
current■ exceptional■ circumstances,■ and■ Abu■
Dhabi■ Customs■ may■ amend,■ suspend,■ or■ cancel■
them■at■any■time■it■deems■appropriate.
