Chairman of the Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2019 Concerning the Formation of Abu Dhabi Strategic Affairs Committee

المادة 1 — في تنفيذ أحكام هذا القرار، يلي ¶

الإمارة : إمارة أبوظبي.
اللجنة : اللجنة الاستراتيجية للأمور الأمنية في أبوظبي.

المادة 2 — لجنة ستُشكَّل باسم "الإدارة الاستراتيجية لابو ة Dhabi" ¶

"اللجنة" وتحت إشراف مجلس الوزراء، برئاسة صاحب السمو الشيخ طحنون بن زayed النهيان، وبعضوية:
1- صاحب السمو الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن زayed النهيان، نائب رئيس
2- ح.س. رئيس مجلس الوزراء
3- ح.س. رئيس هيئة الشؤون التنفيذية
4- ح.س. رئيس مكتب أبوظبي التنفيذي
5- ح.س. رئيس وزارة المالية

المادة 3 — • The Committee shall be in charge of laying down and following up the ¶

general strategic direction of development, services and financial affairs
to achieve the leadership and efficiency of the Emirate. The Committee
shall in particular assume the following competencies:
1. Lay down the general principles, foundations and strategic policies
that enhance the leadership of government development and service
functions in the Emirate, and submit the same to the Executive Council
for approval after discussing it with the Executive Committee.
2. Follow up on the progress of strategic and executive plans of development
and service entities through the quarterly reports that are approved by
the Executive Committee.
3. Follow up on any new strategic and executive items submitted by the
Executive Committee or approved by the Committee, that can affect
the approved strategic policies and plans, and issue the necessary
recommendations in their regard.
4. Submit the recommendations related to the tasks and competencies
of the Committee to the Executive Committee and follow up on their
implementation in conformity with the applicable legislations.
5. Approve the financial policies, budgets and financial plans of the Emirate
including all their resources, the aspects of their disbursement and
financing as well as the beneficiaries, submit the same to the Executive
Council for approval, and follow up on their implementation with the
Department of Finance.

6. Any other competencies assigned thereto by the Chairman of the
Executive Council.
• The Committee shall submit quarterly reports on its functions to the
Executive Council.

المادة 4 — المكتب التنفيذي لإمارة أبوظبي سيقدم التخصصي، الإداري والتقني ¶

تقديم الدعم اللوجستي للجنة وربما يطلب المساعدة من الخبراء والمستشارين لمساعدتها في أداء مهامها.

المادة 6 — تبدأ هذه القرار بالفعالة من تاريخ إصدارها ونشرها ¶

في الجريدة الرسمية.
