No. (58) of 2018
Concerning the Ownership of Real Estate Properties
in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by Companies Owned by
Aldar Properties PJSC
We, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince, Chairman of the
Executive Council,
Having reviewed:
• Law No. (1) of 1974 concerning the Reorganisation of the Governmental
Body in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments;
• Law No. (3) of 2005 concerning the Regulation of Real Estate Registration
in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi;
• Law No. (19) of 2005 concerning Real Estate Property and its amendments;
• Law No. (3) of 2015 concerning the Regulation of the Real Estate Sector
in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi;
• Chairman of the Executive Council Resolution No. (7) of 2007 concerning
the Entitlement of Aldar Properties PJSC to Own Properties;
• Chairman of the Executive Council Resolution No. (64) of 2010 concerning
the Provisions of Real Estate Ownership; and
• Based on what was presented to and approved by the Executive Council;
Issued the following Resolution:
Article (1)
• The right to own real estate properties in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi shall
be granted to the companies owned by Aldar Properties PJSC, by no less
than 50% of the capital, either directly or indirectly, without including the

companies incorporated as real estate investment portfolios.
• This right shall not be derogated if stocks or shares in said companies are
owned by non-nationals or the like.
Article (2)
This Resolution shall be effective from the date of its issuance and shall be
published in the Official Gazette.
