Chairman of the Executive Council Resolution
No. (6) of 2019
Concerning the Formation of the Board of Directors of
Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority
We, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince, Chairman of the
Executive Council,
Having reviewed:
• Law No. (1) of 1974 concerning the Reorganisation of the Governmental
Body in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments;
• Law No. (7) of 2019 concerning the establishment of Abu Dhabi Agriculture
and Food Safety Authority; and
• Based on what was presented to and approved by the Executive Council,
Issued the following Resolution:
Article (1)
The Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority
shall be formed under the chairmanship of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed
Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Presidential Affairs, and the
membership of each of the following Excellencies:
1. Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb al Mehairi: Minister of State
2. Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili: Chairman of the Department of Community
Development
3. Khalifa Mohammed Hamad Fares Al Mazrouei: Undersecretary of the
Department of Transport
4. Mubarak Obaid Al Dhaheri: Undersecretary of the Department of urban
Planning and Municipalities
5. Rashed Abdul Karim Al Balooshi: Acting Undersecretary of the Department
of Economic Development
6. Dr. Shaikha Salem Al-Dhaheri: Acting Secretary-General of the Environment

Article (2)
The Board’s membership shall be three renewable years.
Article (3)
This Resolution shall be effective from the date of its issuance and published
in the Official Gazette.
