Circular No. (1) of 2018
Concerning the Official Working Hours during the
Month of Ramadan
To all governmental entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you,
On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, asking Allah Almighty to
return it to everyone with prosperity and blessings, and pursuant to the rules
and regulations of the Human Resources applicable in the Emirate of Abu
Dhabi concerning the working hours, whereby the official working hours are
reduced during the Holy Month of Ramadan by two hours daily;
We hereby inform that the official working hours for the employees who are
subject to normal working hours set according to the flexible working hours
system during this Holy Month, shall be as follows:
From 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
Or
From 10:00 am until 4:00 pm
Provided that each entity sets its work schedules for shift employees
commensurate with the requirements of work therein.
On this blessed occasion, we are pleased to extend our deepest congratulations
and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President
of the United Arab Emirates, may Allah protect him, His Highness Sheikh
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme
Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Chairman of the Executive Council,
may Allah protect him, the distinguished members of the Executive Council,
and all the employees of the governmental entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,
asking Allah Almighty to return it while they are in good health and wellness.
We also congratulate the people of the United Arab Emirates and both the
Arab and Islamic nations on this gracious occasion.
