Circular No. (11) of 2020
Concerning Business Continuity at the Headquarters
of Governmental Entities and Companies in the
Emirate of Abu Dhabi
To all governmental entities and companies in the Emirate of Abu
Dhabi
Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you,
We are pleased to greet you and express our sincere gratitude for your
continuous cooperation to realise the public interest.
Further to the circulars issued by the concerned entities in this regard,
and based upon the approval of the Executive Committee, the chairman of
the governmental entity or company shall have the power to increase the
attendance of the employees at the headquarters of governmental entities
and companies as of Sunday dated 19 July 2020, commensurate with the
workplace capacity, which allows the commitment to the following:
1. Take all preventive and precautionary measures to confront and prevent
the spread of the Novel Corona virus, Covid-19, according to previously
issued guidelines and circulars, and what is issued by the Department of
Government Support.
2. Guiding employees to complete the procedures of Covid-19 testing before
returning to the work headquarters pursuant to the Circular no. (9) of 2020
concerning Covid 19 tests for employees of governmental entities, issued
by the Department of Government Support.
3. Emphasis on physical distancing and taking the necessary precautions to
ensure the safety of employees.
4. Provide the following devices:
• Digital thermometer.
• Touchless device for a contact-free use of elevators and common
facilities.
• Al-Hosn contact-tracing app reader.

The Human Resources Departments at the governmental entities and
companies shall follow up on the implementation of this Circular and submit
monthly reports to this effect to the Human Resources Authority in the Emirate
of Abu Dhabi.
