Circular No. (3) of 2021
Concerning the Requirements of the Practice of
Business Activities
To all the government entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,
Peace be upon you, and God's mercy and blessings,
We are pleased to greet you and to extend our sincere gratitude for your
continuous cooperation to realise the public interest,
Further to Circular No. (5) of 2018 concerning the conditions for licensing
economic activities and based on the approval of the Executive Committee,
we kindly urge you to commit to the following:
• Coordinate with the Department of Economic Development to complete
the Investor Journey Program by listing and reviewing the regulatory
frameworks, requirements and procedures applicable on the practice of
business activities that fall within your competencies.
• Streamline and facilitate the procedures and requirements required to
provide the services of practicing business activities, and reduce the
time consumed to complete these services by no less than 70% and
include them in the regulations applicable at the Department of Economic
Development.
