Executive Council Resolution No. (149) of 2023
Concerning the Amendment of the Governmental
Fees On Hotel Establishments
The Executive Council has decided the following:
1. Tourism fees on hotel establishments shall be amended according to the
following:
• Tourism fee equal to (4%) of the invoice value issued to the customer.
• Municipality fee equal to (4%) of the invoice value issued to the
customer.
• Cancel the Municipality Room Fee (15 dirhams) per night for each
room.
2. The Tourism Fee of (6%) and the Municipality Fee of (4%) imposed on hotel
restaurants shall be cancelled.
3. Instruct the Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism to
proceed with the procedures for amending the Executive Regulations
of the control the revenues of tourist and hotel establishments in the
Emirate of Abu Dhabi in accordance with what was stated above, and to
issue them in accordance with the applicable regulations.
