Law No. (28) of 2007 Concerning the Reorganisation of The Zoo and Aquarium Public Institution in Al Ain

Article 1 — The Definition of the “Board of Directors” mentioned in Article (1) of the ¶

aforesaid Law No. (28) of 2007 shall be cancelled and the following definition
shall be added:
Department: The Department of Culture and Tourism.

Article 2 — Article (2) of the aforesaid Law No. (28) of 2007 shall be replaced by the ¶

following:

• The Institution shall have an independent corporate personality and the
full legal capacity to act, and shall be affiliated to the Department.
• The Executive Council may change the affiliation of the Institution to any
other entity determined by it.

Article 3 — The Chairman of the Department shall assume the competencies prescribed ¶

for the Board of Directors of the Zoo and Aquarium Public Institution in Al
Ain, wherever mentioned in the aforesaid Law No. (28) of 2007.

Article 4 — • Articles (5) and (17) of the aforesaid Law No. (28) of 2007 shall be ¶

repealed.
• Any provision contrary to the provisions of this Law shall be repealed.

Article 5 — This Law shall be effective from the date of its issuance and published in the ¶

Official Gazette.
