Resolution No. (83) of 2007 concerning the
Implementation of Health Insurance for Nationals and
the Like in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
The Executive Council has decided the following:
1. Approve the replacement of Articles (8) and (10) of the Provisions attached
to the aforementioned Chairman of the Executive Council Resolution No.
(83) of 2007 as follows:
Article (8)
The Department of Health shall specify one company or more to
implement health insurance for those covered by the provisions attached
to the aforesaid Resolutuion No. (83) of 2007 in accordance with the
Health Insurance Claims Management System.
Article (10)
The Department of Health shall handle the financial settlements of health
and treatment services offered to the categories determined in Article (1)
of the Provisions attached to the aforesaid Resolution No. (83) of 2007 in
accordance with the Health Insurance Claims Management System.
2. This Resolution shall be effective from the date of its issuance and a
report shall be submitted to Abu Dhabi Executive Office within two weeks
from its date regarding the latest updates of implementation, via an email
(confidential) at the following address: ADEO-Legislation@ecouncil.ae
