Administrative Decision No. (263) of 2024
Concerning the Manual for the Regulation of Outdoor Seating Areas
Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport,
Having reviewed
- Law No. (1) of 1974 concerning the reorganization of the Governmental Body in the Emirate
of Abu Dhabi and its amendments,
- Law No. (10) of 2006 concerning the Municipality and Municipal Council of the Western
Region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments,
- Law No. (10) of 2007 concerning the Municipality and Municipal Council of Abu Dhabi City
in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments,
- Law No. (11) of 2007 concerning the Municipality and Municipal Council of Al Ain City in
the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments,
- Law No. (30 of 2019 concerning the establishment of the Department of Municipalities and
Transport,
- Law No. (2) of 2012 Concerning the Preservation of General Appearance, Health and Public
Serenity in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, its amendments and its executive regulations,
- Executive Council Resolution No. (79) of 2024 Concerning fees for the sidewalks and outdoor
seating areas in front of commercial buildings and facilities,
- DMT Chairman’ Decision No. (209) of 2016 Concerning the issuance of the amended
executive regulations for the regulation of vehicle parking in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and
its amendments,
- Administrative decision No. (135) of 2022 Concerning the Manual for the Regulation of
Outdoor Seating Areas in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi- Third Version, and
- Based on what is dedicated by the public interest,
Decided following:
Article (1)
The Manual for the Regulation of Outdoor Seating Areas in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (Fourth Version)
attached to this decision, shall be approved.
Article (2)
This decision shall be implemented and effective from the date of its issuance, and any provision in
violation with this decision shall be repealed. Also, this decision shall be published in the Official
Gazette.
