Port Users are reminded that vehicles are
only permitted to enter a port if engaged on
port business and, thereafter, must only
park in designated areas as identified by the
signs displayed.
Abu Dhabi Ports is concerned that, on
occasion, vehicles are left on port premises
for extended periods and I or parked in non-
designated areas. This includes the vehicles
of crew serving on vessels operating
offshore.
Such behavior presents a risk to port safety
and security, may unacceptably disrupt port
operations and is a violation of the Abu Dhabi
Port Rules.

I Port Circular
Vehicles shall not park in a port for more
than 12 hours within any 24 hour period,
unless otherwise designated by signs, or
prior approval has been obtained,
The operator of a vehicle parked in excess of
the time limit defined above, or in an
unauthorized area, will be subject to a
minimum fine of 500 Dirhams and issued a
formal warning in relation to their future
conduct
Should the vehicle operator commit a second
parking violation within six months, he or
she will receive a fine of not less than 500
Dirhams and will not be permitted to drive
on port premises for up to one month.
Should the concerned individual commit a
further (third) parking violation within one
year, he or she will be subject to a fine of up
to 1000 Dirhams with all driving privileges on
port premises removed for three months.
Failure to pay a parking fine, or any attempt
to drive on port premises whilst suspended,
will result in escalated enforcement action.
This may include termination of the vehicle
operator's port entry pass.

Port users are further reminded that, in
accordance with Article TP28/10 of the Abu
Dhabi Transport Regulations (General and
Port Operations), Abu Dhabi Ports may, in
a ddit ion to impo sing a fin e on th e operat or,
have a vehicle locked, stored or removed if
the vehicle has been stopped contrary to the
requirements outlined above.
The removal of any vehicle by Abu Dhabi
Ports is solely at the risk of the owner , who
is liable to pay all costs incurred by Abu
Dhabi Ports together with the required fine
and storage charges.
