Rig, Jack-Up I Accommodation Barge
Calling Mina Zayed Port Limits
To: All Port Users & Vessels' Agents
In order to reduce risk accompanying subject vessels during their stay
in port, ensure port safety and the effective evacuation during
emergencies, with immediate effect, all mobile offshore s tructure or
units including MODUs, including Self-Elevating Drilling Units, Column-
Stabilized Drilling Units, Jack-Up barges, and any other type of Oil-Rigs
or Acc..ommodation Barges fitted with movable legs or footings are
required to have a standby tug accompanying the unit at all time during
the stay in port.
Any unit requesting to lower the legs is subject to the Harbour Master
approval on a case by case study.
