Khalifa Port Harbour Master Directions
Pilot Boarding and Disembarking
To: Marine Manager, Assistant Harbour Master, Pilots, and
Port Controllers.
Application: This direction is applied to all vessels calling Khalifa port and the
instructions should be adhered with all pilots until otherwise advice by the
undersigned.
1. The Pilotage area in Khalifa Port is started at the vicinity of the Pilot
boarded ground (24 56.50 N, 054 35.400E) all Pilots are requested to
board and disembark the vessels at the vicinity of this Position.
2. The vessels under Pilotage should enter and leave the channel from
Gate one (buoys KP1, and KP2)
3. If any vessel with shallow draft needs to leave the channel after Gate 5
(KP-09/KP-10) Harbour Master approvals is needed in case by case
bases.
