Location:
Musaffah Channel, The area between Buoys
M3/M4 & M8/M10 extended to 0.3 NM
between both sides of the channel.

Reference UKHO Chart:

Notice to Mariners

Details:
From 20th April to 2nd May 2021. Up to ten
(10) vessels will be involved in the
deployment of cables with seismic nodes
attached to the seabed. Vessels will then sail
along the lines of the cables from the north
to south with speed of 1.8kn while deploying
the cables and 4 knots while scanning.
Cables will remain on the seabed during the
above-mentioned date.
All vessels navigating in the area should
navigate with caution and lookout for survey
vessels engaged in seismic survey
operations displaying the appropriate day
and night shapes and light signals. Survey
operations will be monitored and controlled
by Musaffah VTS channel 14 and normal
shipping operations will be maintained
without disruption.
التفاصيل:
من 20 إ بريل إلى 2 مايو 2021 ، ستشارك ما يصل إلى عشرة
سفن في نشر الكابالت ذات العقد الزلزالية املتصلة بقاع
البحر. سوف تبحر السفن بعد ذلك على طول خطوط
الكابالت للقيام بعملية تحديد املواقع الصوتية من الشمال
الي الجنوب بسرعة 1.8 عقدة الكابالت و خالل نشر 4 عقد ة
خالل املسح الزلزلي . ستبقى الكابالت في قاع ا لبحر خال ل
التاريخ املذكور أعاله .
يجب على جميع السفن املبحرة في املنطقة أن تتنقل
بحذروترصد السفن املنخرطة في عمليات املسح الزلزالي التي
تعرض األشكال واإلشا ر ات الضوئية املناسبة ليال ونهارا ،
ستتم مراقبة عمليات املسح والتحكم فيها بواسطة مركز
خدمة حركة السفن في ميناء مصفح على القناة Ch. 14-
وسيتم الحفاظ على حركة املالحة البحرية العادية دون عرقلة
أو إنقطاع .
When the seismic survey is complete, the
cables will be recovered. All operations are
due to be completed by 2nd May 2021.
عند إكتمال املسح الزلزالي، سيتم إسترداد الكابالت. من
املقرر أن تكتمل جميع العمليات بحلول 2 مايو 2021 .
Vessels are requested to monitor Channel
16/14 continuously and listen for daily
updates.
يتعين على السفن مراقبة القناة 16 / 14 بإ ستمرار واإل ستماع
إلى التحديثات اليومية.
