Summary:
Mena Plaza Towers are to be demolished by
controlled explosion on 27th November 2020.
Vessels within safety exclusion zone in
Freeport to be relocated and all ships in
Freeport, New Freeport and Zayed Port to take
appropriate precautions as advised hereunder.
ملخص املالح اإلشعار ي:
سيتم هدم أبراج مينا بالزا عن طريق التفجير الخاضع للسيطره
وا لرقابة وذلك في تاريخ 27 نوفمبر 2020 . سوف ت نقل السفن
املتواجدة داخل املنطقة الخطره و املحظورة بالقرب من منطقة
التفجير في امليناء الحر إلى امليناء الحر الجديد وميناء زايد وذلك
لسالمة السفن الزائرة و إل تخاذ اإل حتي اطات املناسبة على النحو
املنصوص عليه أدناه .

Notice to Mariners

Details:
On 27th November at 0800 hrs. The subject
towers will be demolished by controlled
explosion. Vessels inside the safety exclusion
zone will be relocated outside of that zone to
berths in New Freeport and Zayed Port in
advance of the demolition.
Apart from the noise of the explosion and
demolition there is likely to be a large dust
cloud. All vessels should therefore take
appropriate precautions as follows:
 Close all doors, windows, portholes,
ventilators in advance of the
demolition.
 Air conditioning units to be shut down
from 0700hrs to 1200hrs on 27th
November
 No crew to be on deck for the above
period and if they have some urgent
reason then they should wear
appropriate PPE.
 No cargo operations, storing
operations or maintenance operations
will be taking place during the period
0100/27th – 1200 hrs. /27th.
All vessels should monitor Zayed Port / Free
Port on Channel 67 / 11 who will be
coordinating all ship movements and providing
updates on the resumption of normal
operations.
It is anticipated that all port operations will
return to normal by Noon on 27th November.

في تاريخ 27 نوفمبر - الساعة 08:00 صباحًا. س تتم عملية هدم
أبراج مينا بالزا عن طريق التفجير الخاضع للسيطر ة والرقابة قبل
عملية الهدم ستنقل السفن املتواجدة داخل امل نطقة الخطرة
و املحظورة إلى خارج ها الجديد و ميناء زايد) (امليناء الحر .
باإلضافه إلى ضجيج اإل نفجار و ضوضاء عمليات الهدم، من املحتم ل
أن تكون هناك سحابة غبار كبيرة . لذلك يجب على جميع السفن
إ تخاذ اإل حتياطات املناسبة على النحو التالي :
• إ غال ق جميع األبواب والنوافذ وفتحات التهوية واملراوح
قبل الهدم .
• إغالق وحدات التكييف من الساعة 0700 ص إلى
1200 م في يوم 27 نوفمبر 2020
• على طاقم السفينة عدم التواجد على سطح السفينة
خالل الفترة املذكورة أعاله وإذا كان لديهم سبب عاجل
فيجب عليهم ارتداء معدات الوقاية الشخصية املناسبة .
• لن يتم إجراء أي عمليات شحن ، تخزين أو صيانة خالل
الفترة من الساعة 01:00 ص إلى الساعة 12:00 م.
يجب على جميع السفن مراقبة , القناة 67 / 11 مليناء زايد وامليناء
الحر بإستمرار ، حيث ستتم عملية ال تنسيق مع جميع السفن
وتقديم تحديثات حول استئناف العمليات العادية .
من املتوقع أن تعود جميع عمليات امليناء إلى طبيعتها بحلول ظهر
يوم 27 نوفمبر 2020 .
