Cabinet Resolution No. (1) of 2024 Concerning the Technical Regulations on Efficient Energy Consumption for Home Cooling Devices in the United Arab Emirates

The Cabinet,
- Having reviewed the Constitution; and
- Federal Decree-Law No. (20) of 2020, Concerning Standards and Metrology; and
- Based upon the proposal submitted by the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Cabinet's approval,
Resolved:

Article (1)

The updated Technical Regulations on Efficient Energy Consumption for Home Cooling Devices, whose number and title are stipulated in the schedule annexed with this Resolution, shall be deemed as a mandatory technical regulations in the United Arab Emirates.

Article (2)

All concerned authorities, existing at the time of this Resolution's enforcement, shall regulate its status to comply with its provisions within (365) Three Hundred and Sixty-Five days as of its enforcement date.

Article (3)

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its publication date.
