Cabinet Resolution No. (19) of 2019 Concerning a Mandatory Standard with Obligatory Application in the United Arab Emirates

The Cabinet:
‒ Having reviewed the Constitution; and
‒ Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the competences of ministries and capacities of ministers and its amendments; and
‒ Federal Law No. (28) of 2001 concerning the establishment of the Emirates Standards and Metrology Authority and its amendments; and
‒ Based upon the Cabinet's Approval,
Decided:

Article (1)

The mandatory standards related to the electricity sector, a total of (3), whose numbers and titles are shown in the schedule attached to this resolution, shall be considered mandatory standards with obligatory application in the United Arab Emirates.

Article (2)

All concerned bodies, present at the time of enforcement of this resolution, comply with its provisions within (180) days of its enforcement.

Article (3)

This resolution shall be published in the official gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication.
