Cabinet Resolution No. (36) of 2013 Regarding the Application of a Mandatory UAE Standard Specification
The Cabinet,
− Having reviewed the Constitution, and
− Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Regarding the Competences of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, as amended, and
− Federal Law No. (28) of 2001 Establishing the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology, as amended, and
− Upon the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby resolves as follows:
Article (1)
The UAE standard specification No. (UAE.S 5010-3:2013) Labeling - Energy Efficiency Label for Electrical Appliances - Part Three: Household Refrigerating Appliances, shall be applied as a mandatory standard specification in the United Arab Emirates.
Article (2)
The concerned entities shall implement this Resolution. It shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force (180) days after the day following its publication.
