Cabinet Resolution No. (60) of 2019 Regarding the Mandatory Standard Specification for Food Additives in the United Arab Emirates

The Cabinet,
− Having reviewed the Constitution;
− Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Regarding the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers; as amended;
− Federal Law No. (28) of 2001 Establishing the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology; as amended;
− Cabinet Resolution No. (1) of 2017 Regarding the Application of Mandatory Standard Specifications for the United Arab Emirates; and,
− Upon the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby resolves as follows:

Article (1)

The approved standard specification, whose number, title, and type are indicated in the Schedule attached to this Resolution, shall be deemed a mandatory standard specification in the United Arab Emirates.

Article (2)

The concerned entities responsible for the implementation of this Resolution shall, within (90) days from the date of its entry into force, regularize their status in accordance with its provisions.

Article (3)

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force on the day following the date of its publication.
