Cabinet Resolution No. (62) of 2022 Concerning the Technical Rules of the Three-Piece Steel Round Cans used for Canning Food Stuffs in the United Arab Emirates
The Cabinet,
- Having reviewed the Constitution; and
- Federal Law No. (1) of 1972, Concerning the Competences of Ministries and Capacities of Ministers, and its amendments thereof; and
- Federal Law No. (10) of 2018, Concerning Products Safety, and its amendments thereof; and
- Federal Decree-Law No. (20) of 2020, Concerning Standards and Metrology; and
- Based upon the proposal submitted by the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Cabinet's approval,
Hereby resolved:
Article (1)
The Technical Regulation for "Three-Piece Steel Round Cans used for Canning Food Stuffs", whose number and title are identified in the schedule annexed to this Resolution, shall be considered a mandatory technical regulation in the United Arab Emirates.
Article (2)
All concerned authorities, existing at the time of enforcement of this Resolution, shall adjust their statuses to comply with its provisions within (365) Three Hundred Sixty-Five days as of its date of enforcement.
Article (3)
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication.
