Cabinet Resolution No. (76) of 2021 Regarding the PCR Test Fee (COVID-19)

The Cabinet:
− Having reviewed the Constitution;
− Federal Decree by Law No. (16) of 2016, Establishing the Emirates Health Services (EHS);
− Federal Decree by Law No. (26) of 2019, Regarding Public Finance;
− Cabinet Resolution No. (19) of 2021, Regarding the PCR Test Fee (COVID-19); and
− Upon the Cabinet's approval,
Hereby resolves as follows:

Article (1)

1. The Emirates Health Services shall collect a fee of (50) Fifty Dirhams for conducting the PCR test for (COVID-19) at hospitals, health facilities, and centers affiliated therewith.
2. The Minister of Health and Prevention shall be authorized to issue a resolution determining the categories exempt from the application of the fee referred to in clause (1) herein.

Article (2)

The aforementioned fee shall be collected through the means determined by the Ministry of Finance.

Article (3)

Cabinet Resolution No. (19) of 2021 Regarding the PCR Test Fee (COVID-19) shall be repealed.

Article (4)

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force from 31/08/2021.
