Construction Sites Housekeeping
To: All Consultants and contractors working in Building
and construction sector within the City of Abu Dhabi.
As Abu Dhabi Municipality always enhance EHS
Procedures at the construction sites, all contractors,
consultants and developers are requested to comply with
the following:
Environment Health and Safety Requirements
 المحافظة على نظافة الموقع اإلنشائي والتخلص من تجمعات
المياه الراكدة والصرف الصحي والنفايات الصلبة والسائلة
بالطرق السليمة وعدم السماح بتشكل بؤر لتوالد الحشرات
والقوارض.
• Keep the construction sites clean and tidy and remove
drainage, stagnant water and solid rubbish in proper
ways - and do not allow the formation of breeding
grounds for insects and rodents.
 التعاقد مع شركات مكافحة آفات الصحة العامة المرخصة
و المعتمدة من مركز مركز أدارة النفايات – أبوظبي ( تدوير )
خالل فترة البناء واإلنشاء والقيام بمسوحات حشرية أسبوعية
والمكافحة.
• Arrange contract with pest Control Companies
approved by – the center of waste management - Abu
Dhabi (Tadweer), during the construction stages and
conduct weekly insect surveys.
 يمنع منعا باتا ً رمي نفايات الهدم والبناء بشكل عشوائي ويجب
توفير حاويات خاصة يتم تجميعها وترحيلها بشكل دوري.
• It is strictly prohibited to throw demolition and
construction waste randomly, and special containers
must be provided and collected periodically.
 على مقاولي الهدم التأكد من عدم هدم أي مبنى لحين اإلنتهاء
من عملية مكافحة الحشرات والقوارض والتأكد من خلو المبنى
منها.
• The demolition contractors must ensure that no
building is demolished until the pest and rodent control
process is completed and that the building is free of
them.

• Separation of organic waste from demolition
/construction waste and maintaining the cleanliness of
the construction site while ensuring daily transfer of
organic and inorganic waste by companies approved by
the Centre of waste management-Abu Dhabi (Tadweer)
 التأكد من استيفاء متطلبات مركز أدارة النفايات – أبوظبي
( تدوير ) قبل الحصول على التصاريح الخاصة بتكليف مقاول
وإتمام المباني والهدم .
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of the
center of waste management - Abu Dhabi (Tadweer),
before obtaining permits to commission contractor,
completion of buildings and demolition.
