Circular No 002/2019
Safe Working at Heights
To: All Consultants and Contractors working in
Building and Construction sector within the City of Abu
Dhabi.
As Abu Dhabi Municipality always enhance EHS
Procedures at the construction sites, all contractors,
consultants and developers are requested to comply
with the following:
Safety Requirements
• ضمان أجراء تقييم المخاطر وتحديثها بشكل دوري لألعمال
وتحديد الضوابط المناسبه لمنع أنهيار البنيه والمعدات ومنع
سقوط األشخاص والمعدات – مع ضرورة مراعاة أعراض الخوف
من العمل على األرتفاعات والظروف الجويه .
• Ensure to conduct risk assessment and periodical update
for activities to define appropriate controls, in preventing
collapse of structure/equipment and fall of persons and
materials from heights, with due consideration to height
phobia and climatic conditions.
• التاكد من أستخدام جميع وسائل الحمايه الشخصيه لمنع
السقوط والتأكد من توفير الحمايه المالئمة للحواف وأغالق جميع
الفتحات مع توفير لوحات تحذيريه .
• Ensure use of all required personal fall arrest system to
avoid falling and to ensure all edges are protected,
openings closed with clear warning signs.
• التأكد من تقديم التدريب المالئم من قبل طرف ثالث لجميع
الموظفين المعنيين بأستخدام وتفتيش وتشييد وتفكيك السقاالت
والساللم وتوابعها – للعمل على األرتفاعات .

working at heights.
• التأكد من أجراء التفتيش الدوري لجميع المعدات وأدوات
الحمايه المتعلقه بأنشطة العمل على األرتف اعات – بواسطة شركة
تفتيش طرف ثالث معتمده .
• Ensure periodic inspection of all falling protection
party rd by approved 3 – and accessories pment equi
inspection bodies.
• التأكد من تواجد مشرف عمل ذو خبره كافيه بمجال العمل على
المرتفعات وتقديم نشرة السالمه الصباحيه اليوميه الخاصه بالعمل
على األرتفاعات – لتوصيل الوعي بالمخاطر التي قد تواجه الفريق
والتحقق من توفير الضوابط المطلوبه للعمل .
• Ensure the attendance of competent supervisor (having
adequate knowledge in working at heights) and conduct
daily safety pre-task briefing in related to working at heights,
to convey hazards and risks pertaining to activity being
performed as well as verify all the required safety controls.
