Temporary Septic Tanks
To: All contractors, consultants and developers
working in building and construction sector within
the Abu Dhabi City.
As Abu Dhabi Municipality always enhance EHS
measures at the construction sites. All
contractors, consultants and developers are
requested to comply with the following
requirements
Environment Health and Safety Requirements
 يجب استخدام خزانات GRP (البالستيك المقوى بالزجاج) او الخرسانة المسلحة
او الحديد المقاو م للصداء ذات الحجم الكافي المغلق بإحكام لجمع مياه الصرف
الصحي ، ونقلها إلى محطة معالجة الصرف الصحي المع تم دة او إ لى نقاط التفري غ
المعتمدة والمتصلة بشبكة الصرف الصحي الرئيسية بشكل دوري .
• Adequately sized/enclosed tanks made of GRP, (Glass
reinforced plastic), reinforced concrete, or anti-corrosion
steel shall be used for the collection of sewage water and shall
be transferred regularly to an approved STP (Septic Treatment
Plant) or to an approved discharging manholes which
connected with the main sewerage system network.
 يجب أن تكون الخزانات محاطة بج دران مبنيه من البلوك ومعزولة بشكل صحيح
لتجنب تسرب مياه الصرف الصحي .
• The tanks shall be surrounded with blocks wall and isolated
properly to avoid sanitary waste water leakage.
 يجب تثبيت شبك على فتحات التهوية الخاصة بخزان الصرف الصحي لمنع دخول
أو خروج الحشرات الطائرة، مع التأكد من إغالق الخزان بشكل محكم . وتوفير
حماية شبك/حواجز الخزان حول األرض سطح على لوحات وضع مع
تعريفية/إ رشادية.
• Net screen shall be fixed on top of the ventilation openings of
the sewage tank to prevent insect access/egress and ensure
the tank is tightly closed. Provision of fence/barriers around
the tank on the ground surface. Allocation of
identification/guidance signs.
• التحقق يوميًا من سعة الخزان مع اإلشراف المستمر، لتجنب تدفق مياه الصرف
الصحي خارج الخزان.
• Ensure daily check/inspection of tank’s capacity and
continuous supervision, to avoid sewage overflow.
• أثناء سحب مياه الصرف الصحي، يجب ارتداء ( معدات الوقاية الشخصية المناسبة
( قفازات مطاطية وقناع وحذاء بالستيكي ، و التأكد من شبك الخرطوم بشكل جيد.
• During the discharge sanitary waste water, ensure to wear
Proper PPE (Rubber Gloves, Mask, and Gumboots), Proper
check of hose clamps / connected properly.
• يجب سحب ونقل ميا ه الصرف ال صح ي من الخزانات بواس طة شركات م عتمدة
من تدوير .
• Sewage water shall be sucked and transferred from the tanks
by Tadweer’s approved companies.
• الصيانة الدورية للنظام الصحي بالكامل (مثل المراحيض المؤقتة وخزانات
الصرف الصحي وشبكة الصرف الصحي وغيرها) في المو اقع اإلنشائية.
• Regular service and maintenance for sanitary system (such as
portable toilets, septic tanks, sewage network etc.) in the
construction sites.
• عند االنتهاء من المشروع، يجب التأكد من إعادة المنطقة إلى الوضع األصلي،
والتأكد من أن المنطقة نظيفة ومرتبة بعد إزالة خزانات مياه ال صرف الصحي
دون أي إ نسكابات.
• When the project is completed, make sure the area is set
back to the original condition, and ensure the area is
properly clean and tidy after removing the sanitary
wastewater tanks without any spills.
