COVID-19 Prevention in Labor
Accommodations
To all consultants, contractors & developers working
in building and construction sector within the Abu
Dhabi City.
As Abu Dhabi City Municipality always enhance EHS
procedures at the labor accommodations. All owners
and operators of labor accommodations in Abu Dhabi
City are requested to comply with the following:

ا لﻤﺒاشﺮ باألفﺮ اد دا خﻞ ا لﺴﻜ ن مثل :
1 . ا لﺤﻤاما ت و أماكن ا إل سﺘﺤﻤا م وا لﻤغاسﻞ .
2 . ﻃا و ال ت و كﺮ ا سي ﻏﺮ ف ا لﻄعا م.
3 . مﻄابﺦ الع ﻤا ل و ملﺤقاتﻬا .

• Increase the frequency of cleaning & disinfection
processes of facilities & surfaces in direct contact
with the persons inside the accommodation such
as:
1. Bathrooms, showers, and washing basins.
2. Dining tables and chairs.
3. Workers kitchens and their accessories.
4. Labor bedrooms, furniture, and all doors
handles.
5. Prayer rooms.
6. Control devices for electronic & electrical
devices (e.g. television, air conditioner,
lighting switches)
7. Stairs handrails.
8. Gym’s equipment
9. Seats and tables in the training rooms,
meeting rooms and entertainment rooms.
10. Labor buses (seats and handles).
• المحافظة على مسافة كافية بين العمال ( ا متر على األ قل) في كافة
األ ماكن المشتركة ( مثل اإل ستراحات ، المط اعم ، إلﺦ ) في حالة عدم
القدرة إ ﻏالق هذ ه األ ماكن .
• Maintain adequate distance between workers
(minimum 1 meter) in all common areas (e.g. rest
areas, messes, etc.). In case if not capable of
doing this close these areas.

• إ لغاء كافة الﻔعاليات داخل السكن مثل المباريات، الحﻔالت ، إ لﺦ .
• Cancel all events inside the accommodation e.g.
matches, parties, etc.
• ضروورة تعقيم الحافالت وفﻖ متطلبات مركز أ بوظبي للصحة العام ة.
• All buses shall be disinfected according to the
requirements of Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre.
• المحافظة على مسافة كافية بين العمال أ ثناء التنقل في الحافالت .
• Maintain adequate distance between workers while
using buses.
• تقليل حركة خروج العمال من ال سكن إ لى األ ماكن العامة قدر اإل م كان .
• Reduce the movement of labors from the
accommodation to public areas where possible.
• تخصي ص أم اكن منﻔصلة ( جناح أ و مبنى) للحجر .
• Allocate separate areas (wing or building) for
quarantine.
• توفير معقم اليدين في أ ماكن متﻔرقة من السكن ، مع توفيره في الحمامات
إضافة للصابون .
 Availability of hand sanitizers & hand wash liquid in
various locations at the accommodation in particularly
in toilets.
• تﻮثﻴﻖ عمليات ا لﺘﻨﻈﻴﻒ وا لﺘﻄﻬﻴﺮ في سجالت الﺘﻨﻈﻴﻒ مع ذ كﺮ ا لم ادة
المست خدمة في التطﻬي ر.
 Documenting all cleaning and disinfection
operations including the names of the used
disinfectants.
