Heavy Equipment & Machinery
Movement
To all Consultants and Contractors working in
building and construction sector within Abu Dhabi
City.
As Abu Dhabi City Municipality always enhance EHS
procedures at the construction sites, all contractors,
consultants, and developers are requested to
comply with the following:
متطلبات السالم ة Safety Requirements
• إ جراء تقييم المخاطر و إعداد طريقة العمل من قبل المقاول
و الموافقه عليها من ق بل اإل ستشاري ألعمال وحركة المعدات
واآل الت الثقيلة .
• A method statement and risk assessment shall be
prepared by the contractor and approved by the
consultant for the heavy machines & equipment
activities and movements.
• ضمان أعداد خطة إ دارة المرور للمشروع مع األخذ بعين اإل عتبار
" نقاط الحوادث المخفية ،" رجوع المعدات الثقيلة للخلف ، مخطط
موقع العمل ، لوحات السالمة اإل رشادي ة، تعيين شخص منظم الحرك ة،
حركة المرور أثناء حاالت الطوارئ ، فصل حركة المرور ، نقاط ركوب
ونزول العمال ، وجميع عوامل السالمة المطلوبة للحد من الحوادث .
• Ensure that traffic management plan is prepared for
the project considering; “accident blind spots”, heavy
equipment’s reversing, work place lay-out, safety
signage, deployment of flagmen, flow of traffic during
emergency situations, separation of traffic, pick-up and
drop-off of workers points, and all the required safety
factors of curbing accidents.
• التأكد من تعيين شخص منظم ل لحركة ذو كفاء ة عالية ومدرب من
قبل طرف ثالث متواجد مع جميع المعدات واآلليات الثقيلة والشاحنات
لتنظيم حركتها ومنع تصادمها مع األشخاص ومع المعدات األخرى .
• Ensure the appointment of a person (flag man) with
high competency and trained by a third party present
with all equipment, heavy machinery, and trucks to
control their movement and to prevent collision with
people and other equipment.
• إ جراء ال فحص والتفتيش اليومي واألسبوعي والشهري لجميع
المعدات واألالت الثقيلة من قبل ميكانيكي ذو كفاءة .
• Conduction of daily, weekly, and monthly inspection of
all heavy machinery and equipment by a competent
mechanic.
• يجب فحص المعدات واآلليات وإ عتمادها سنوي ًا بواسطة شركة
تفتيش من طرف ثالث معتمد من ال جهات المختصة .
• All equipment and machines shall be yearly inspected /
certified by 3rd party company approved by concerned
authorities.

• التأكد من توا جد مشرف عمل ذو خبره كافي ة لتنظيم واإل شراف على
عمل المعدات واآل الت الثقيل ة وتقديم نشرة السالمة الصباحية اليو مية
الخاص ة بإ ستخدام المعدات واآلليات – لنشر الو عي بالمخاطر التي قد
تواجه العام لين والتحقق من توفير شروط السالمة المطلوبة للعمل .
• Ensure the availability of competent supervisor to
regulate/supervise the machinery & equipment’s
activities, and conduct daily safety pre-task briefing
related to the equipment’s movement to convey
awareness about the activities risks being performed,
as well as verify all the required safety controls.
