Federal Decree No. (95) of 2025 Regarding the Appointment of the Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Agency
We, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan President of the United Arab Emirates,
− Having reviewed the Constitution,
− The Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Regarding the Competences of Ministries and the Powers of the Ministers, as amended;
− The Federal Decree by Law No. (2) of 2025 Establishing the National Anti-Narcotics Agency; and
− Upon the proposal of the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby decreed as follows:
Article (1)
His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan is appointed as Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Agency, with the rank of Minister.
Article (2)
The concerned authorities shall implement this Decree, each within its respective remit.
Article (3)
This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force from the date of its issuance.
