Cabinet Resolution No. (208) of 2025 Regarding the Fees for Services Provided by the Ministry of Foreign Trade
The Cabinet:
− Having reviewed the Constitution,
− Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Regarding the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, as amended,
− Federal Law No. (1) of 2017 Regarding Anti-Dumping, Countervailing, and Preventive Measures,
− Federal Law No. (11) of 2019 Regarding the Rules and Certificates of Origin,
− Federal Decree by Law No. (26) of 2019 Regarding Public Finance, as amended,
− Cabinet Resolution No. (20) of 2020 Regarding the Fees for Services Provided by the Ministry of Economy, as amended, and
− Upon the proposal of the Minister of Finance and the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby resolves as follows:
Article (1) Definitions
For the purposes of implementing the provisions of this Resolution, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: The Ministry of Foreign Trade.
Minister: The Minister of Foreign Trade.
Article (2) Service Fees
The fees specified opposite each service listed in the Schedule attached hereto shall be collected in consideration of the services provided by the Ministry in exercise of the competencies prescribed thereto pursuant to the legislation in force in the State.
Article (3) Amendment of Fees
The Cabinet shall be competent to make any amendments to the fees stipulated in this Resolution, whether by addition, deletion, or modification.
Article (4) Collection of Fees
1. The fees stipulated in this Resolution shall be collected by the means prescribed by the Ministry of Finance.
2. For the purposes of collecting the fees stipulated in this Resolution, a part of a day shall be deemed a full day, and a part of a month shall be deemed a full month.
Article (5) Executive Resolutions
The Minister shall issue the resolutions necessary for the implementation of the provisions of this Resolution.
Article (6) Repeals
The fees for the services of certificates of origin for national products, stipulated in Items Nos. (97) to (104) of the schedule of fees for services provided by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism attached to Cabinet Resolution No. (20) of 2020, shall be repealed. Any provision that contradicts or conflicts with the provisions of this Resolution shall also be repealed.
Article (7) Publication and Entry into Force of the Resolution
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force on the day following the date of its publication.
