Subject: Temporary Closure of Hotels and Tourism
Establishments During the Current Coronavirus (COVID-
19) Situation
ﺍﻹﻏﻼﻕ ﺍﻟﻣﺅﻗﺕ ﻟﻠﻣﻧﺷﺄﺓ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﻔﻧﺩﻗﻳﺔ ﺧﻼﻝ ﺍﻟﻅﺭﻭﻑ ﺍﻟﺣﺎﻟﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:

Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
Referring to the above subject, and based on Law No.
(13) of 2006 and Law No. (8) of 2018, establishing the
Department of Culture and Tourism -Abu Dhabi (DCT
Abu Dhabi) with an overall mandate to develop and
elevate quality standards of the tourism industry in the
Emirate of Abu Dhabi; with the current economic
situation in the Emirate caused by Coronavirus (COVID-
19), and the temporary closure of some tourism
establishments due to the financial losses resulting from
this, the following guidelines are to be complied with:
ﺑﺷﺄﻥ 2006 ( ﻟﺳﻧﺔ13ﺑﺎﻹﺷﺎﺭﺓ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﺿﻭﻉ ﺃﻋﻼﻩ، ﻭﺍﺳﺗﻧﺎﺩﺍ ً ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﺎﻧﻭﻥ ﺭﻗﻡ )
2018 ( ﻟﺳﻧﺔ8ﺍﻟﺭﻗﺎﺑﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ ﺍﻟﻔﻧﺩﻗﻳﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺇﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ، ﻭﻗﺎﻧﻭﻥ ﺭﻗﻡ )
ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺇﻧﺷﺎء ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻭﻣﺎ ﻧﺹ ﻋﻠﻳﻪ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﻬﺎﻡ
ﻭﺍﻻﺧﺗﺻﺎﺻﺎﺕ ﻟﺗﺣﻘﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﺗﻧﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ، ﻭﺫﻟﻙ ﻣﻥ ﺧﻼﻝ ﺍﻟﻘﻳﺎﻡ
ﺑﺎﻟﻣﻬﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻛﻠﺔ ﻟﻠﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ؛
ﻭﺑﺎﻹﺷﺎﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﻰ ﺍﻷﻭﺿﺎﻉ ﺍﻻﻗﺗﺻﺎﺩﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺣﺎﻟﻳﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﻭﺍﻟﺗﻲ ﺗﺳﺑﺏ ﺑﻬﺎ ﻓﻳﺭﻭﺱ
(، ﻭﺍﻹﻏﻼﻕ ﺍﻟﻣﺅﻗﺕ ﻟﺑﻌﺽ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺧﺳﺎﺋﺭ19ﻛﻭﺭﻭﻧﺎ )ﻛﻭﻓﻳﺩ-
ﺍﻟﻣﺎﺩﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻣﺗﺭﺗﺑﺔ ﻣﻥ ﺟﺭﺍء ﺫﻟﻙ، ﻓﻘﺩ ﺗﻘﺭﺭ ﺍﻟﺗﻭﺟﻳﻪ ﺑﺎﻵﺗﻲ:
Any tourism or hotel establishment wishing to close
temporarily because of the current circumstances must
inform DCT Abu Dhabi prior to any action taken, due to
the required processes, statistics and data associated
with the regulations and systems of the Department and
other concerned government entities.

ﻳﺗﻭﺟﺏ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺃﻱ ﻣﻧﺷﺄﺓ ﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﺃﻭ ﻓﻧﺩﻗﻳﺔ ﺗﺭﻏﺏ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻹﻏﻼﻕ ﺍﻟﻣﺅﻗﺕ ﻧﻅﺭﺍ
ﻟﻠﻅﺭﻭﻑ ﺍﻟﺭﺍﻫﻧﺔ، ﺿﺭﻭﺭﺓ ﺇﺑﻼﻍ ﺍﻟﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺑﺷﻛﻝ ﻣﺳﺑﻖ ﻧﻅﺭﺍ ً ﻟﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﺭﺗﺏ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺫﻟﻙ
ﻣﻥ ﺇﺟﺭﺍءﺍﺕ ﻭﺟﻣﻊ ﺍﻹﺣﺻﺎﺋﻳﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻟﺑﻳﺎﻧﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺗﻌﻠﻘﺔ ﺑﺄﻧﻅﻣﺔ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ
– ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻭﻏﻳﺭﻫﺎ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﺟﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺣﻛﻭﻣﻳﺔ ﺫﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﺻﻠﺔ.
Please note that tourism and hotel establishments will
be inspected by DCT Abu Dhabi's inspectors to verify
compliance with these instructions.
ﻳﺭﺟﻰ ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻡ ﺑﺄﻧﻪ ﺳﻳﺗﻡ ﺗﻔﺗﻳﺵ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻔﻧﺩﻗﻳﺔ ﻣﻥ ﻗﺑﻝ ﻣﻔﺗﺷﻲ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ
ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ –ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻟﻠﺗﺣﻘﻖ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻻﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ ﺑﻬﺫﻩ ﺍﻟﺗﻌﻠﻳﻣﺎﺕ.
We also stress the importance of adhering to all
circulars issued by DCT Abu Dhabi and other relevant
government entities regarding the prohibition or
s u s p e n s i o n o f s o m e o f t h e t o u r i s t a n d h o t e l
establishments’ activities, as part of precautionary
measures taken to combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
