in Hotel Establishments for Re-opening approvals.
ﺍﻟﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻻﺷﺗﺭﺍﻁﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻭﺍﺟﺏ ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻘﻬﺎ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻻﺳﺗﻌﺩﺍﺩ ﻹﻋﺎﺩﺓ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:

Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
In line with the preventative measures for Coronavirus
(COVID-19) issued by relevant entities, and in line with
efforts to sustain and support the tourism industry and
national economic development, taking into
consideration the importance of community and public
health, the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu
Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is instructing all Hotel
Establishments in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to comply
and fulfil the precautionary and preventive
measurements outlined in this circular as part of
readiness assurance prior to opening facilities.
Resuming operation approvals shall be granted upon the
completion of readiness assurance requirements and
the defined criteria in terms of general measurements,
social distancing and crowd control measurements and
working employees measurements.
ﺗﻣﺎﺷﻳﺎ ً ﻣﻊ ﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺟﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﻧﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺻﺎﺩﺭﺓ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﻭﻟﺔ ﻓﻳﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻌﻠﻖ ﺑﺎﻟﺗﺩﺍﺑﻳﺭ

ﻣﻥ ﺣﻳﺙ ﺍﻻﺷﺗﺭﺍﻁﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻣﺔ، ﻭﺍﻟﺗﺑﺎﻋﺩ ﺍﻟﺗﺄﻛﺩ ﻣﻥ ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﻣﺗﻁﻠﺑﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ

General Measurements:
Operating hours to be from 6am until 9pm.

Sterilse and clean facilities on a regular basis
especially high touch points with customers, and
restrooms to be cleaned after individual usage,
ensuring providing hand sanitisers at the facility
entrance.
ﺿﺭﻭﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺗﻌﻘﻳﻡ ﺍﻟﺩﻭﺭﻱ ﻭﺑﺎﻷﺧﺹ ﺍﻟﻧﻘﺎﻁ ﺍﻟﺗﻲ ﻳﻠﻣﺳﻬﺎ ﺍﻟﺯﺑﺎﺋﻥ ﺑﺎﻹﺿﺎﻓﺔ

Define clear and separate entry and exit points,
ensure the facility has thermal cameras installed
within the space, along with sterilising equipment to
ensure each person is going through the mandated
thermal screening, noting entry shall be denied for
those of high tempreture . This includes staff,

visitors, and contractors, ensuring the integration of
cameras with the National Emergency Crisis and
Disaster Management Authority system.
Dedicate mandatory isolation room to isolate
suspected cases and ensure a medical team is
available and on standby throughout operating
hours.
ﺗﺧﺻﻳﺹ ﻏﺭﻓﺔ ﻋﺯﻝ ﻣﻧﻔﺻﻠﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺎﻝ ﺗﻭﺍﺟﺩ ﺃﻓﺭﺍﺩ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﺣﺎﻻﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺷﺗﺑﻪ
ﺑﻬﺎ ﻣﻊ ﺗﻭﻓﻳﺭ ﻁﺎﻗﻡ ﺍﻟﻣﺳﻌﻔﻳﻥ ﻁﻭﺍﻝ ﺳﺎﻋﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻌﻣﻝ.
All visitors are mandated to wear masks at all times.
Non-compliance by visitors will lead to refusal of
entry to the facilities.

Perform ongoing and regular sanitation work, this
includes tables, surfaces and chairs with 75%
alcohol disinfectant solution after each customer
departure, and ensure using only disposable
utensils.

Ensure availability of dedicated cleaners in
restrooms to sanitise the restrooms after every use,
and ensure regular sanitising of all entrances and
surfaces considered to be of high frequency of
contacts.

Encourage customers to use ‘smart’ payments as a
preferred method to reduce contacts and
contamination while cash payments are still valid
and not to be rejected, and ensuring the installation
of hand sanitisers at payment counters.

People of Determination with only 2 persons
capacity.

Working Employees Measurements: ﺑﺎﻟﻣﻭﻅﻔﻳﻥ: ﺇﺟﺭﺍءﺍﺕ ﺧﺎﺻﺔ
All employees should undergo COVID-19 testing
prior to reopening, and all employees to have a
COVID-19 test on bi-weekly basis. Results should
be sent to the email outlined above.

Document all sanitising and hygiene action items
performed in the dedicated cleaning records and
pointing out the sanitisers type used.

Please note that resuming operations will remain on hold
until approvals granted from DCT Abu Dhabi upon the
completion of the measurements implementation as
illustrated in this circular. The purpose of the above
mentioned guidelines are to equip and inform you with
related measurements which will qualify you to acquire
the approval from DCT Abu Dhabi. Noting that approvals
shall be addressed to each upon providing the actions
undertaken to fulfil the measurements.
