Subject: Exemption from Tourism Fees for event
organisers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
ﺍﻹﻋﻔﺎء ﻣﻥ ﻧﺳﺑﺔ ﺑﺩﻻﺕ ﺗﺫﺍﻛﺭ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﻧﻅﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:
Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
With reference to the above subject, and based on Law
No. (8) of 2018, establishing the Department of Culture
and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) with an
overall mandate to develop and elevate quality
standards of the tourism industry to achieve tourism
development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the
Executive Council Resolution No. (54) of 2018 regarding
event licensing in Abu Dhabi Emirate, and resolution No.
(5) of 2018 for the Tourism Fees on events in
accordance with the licensing system.
ﺑﺷﺄﻥ 2018 ( ﻟﺳﻧﺔ8ﺑﺎﻹﺷﺎﺭﺓ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﺿﻭﻉ ﺃﻋﻼﻩ، ﻭﺍﺳﺗﻧﺎﺩﺍ ً ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﺎﻧﻭﻥ ﺭﻗﻡ )
ﺇﻧﺷﺎء ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻭﻣﺎ ﻧﺹ ﻋﻠﻳﻪ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﻬﺎﻡ
ﻭﺍﻻﺧﺗﺻﺎﺻﺎﺕ ﻟﺗﺣﻘﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﺗﻧﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ، ﻭﺫﻟﻙ ﻣﻥ ﺧﻼﻝ ﺍﻟﻘﻳﺎﻡ

ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺗﺣﺩﻳﺩ ﻧﺳﺑﺔ ﺑﺩﻻﺕ ﺗﺫﺍﻛﺭ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻭﻓﻘﺎ ً ﻟﻧﻅﺎﻡ ﺗﺭﺧﻳﺹ 2018 ﻟﺳﻧﺔ
.ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻓﻲ ﺇﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ
And based on the directives of the Executive Council
issuing the Abu Dhabi Economic Incentive Package
within the project Ghadan 21 “Resolution No. 70 of
2020”, and for further stimulation to the investment
environment in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, it has been
decided to exempt event organisers for the following:
ﻭﺑﻧﺎء ً ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺟﻠﺱ ﺍﻟﺗﻧﻔﻳﺫﻱ ﻭﺇﺻﺩﺍﺭ ﺣﺯﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﻣﺳﺭّﻋﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺗﻧﻣﻭﻳﺔ
ﻟﺳﻧﺔ 70 " )ﺍﻟﻘﺭﺍﺭ ﺭﻗﻡ21 ً ﺍﻻﻗﺗﺻﺎﺩﻳﺔ ﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﺿﻣﻥ ﻣﺷﺭﻭﻉ "ﻏﺩﺍ
ﻓﻘﺩ ﺗﻘﺭﺭ ﺇﻋﻔﺎء (، ﻭﻟﻣﺯﻳﺩ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﺗﺣﻔﻳﺯ ﻟﺑﻳﺋﺔ ﺍﻻﺳﺗﺛﻣﺎﺭ ﻓﻲ ﺇﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ2020
:ﻣﺑﻳﻌﺎﺕ ﻣﻧﻅﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻭﻓﻘﺎ ً ﻟﻣﺎ ﻳﻠﻲ
1-Exempt event organisers from the Tourism Fee (10%
on tickets sold).
% ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﺗﺫﺍﻛﺭ10- ﺇﻋﻔﺎء ﻣﻧﻅّﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻣﻥ ﻧﺳﺑﺔ ﺑﺩﻻﺕ ﺗﺫﺍﻛﺭ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ )1
ﺍﻟﻣﺑﺎﻋﺔ(.
2- The commitment of event organisers to declare their
monthly revenues, provide financial statements in
support of them, and cooperate with the revenue
auditors or those assigned by DCT Abu Dhabi to verify
the validity of the declarations and fees which have been
verified and/or paid for prior periods
- ﻳﻠﺗﺯﻡ ﻣﻧﻅﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺑﺎﻟﺗﺻﺭﻳﺢ ﻋﻥ ﺍﻳﺭﺍﺩﺍﺗﻬﻡ ﺍﻟﺷﻬﺭﻳﺔ، ﻭﺗﻘﺩﻳﻡ ﺍﻟﺑﻳﺎﻧﺎﺕ2
ﺍﻟﻣﺎﻟﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻣﺅﻳﺩﺓ ﻟﻬﺎ، ﻭﺍﻟﺗﻌﺎﻭﻥ ﻣﻊ ﻣﺩﻗﻘﻲ ﺍﻻﻳﺭﺍﺩﺍﺕ ﺃﻭ ﺍﻟﻣﻛﻠﻔﻳﻥ ﻣﻥ ﻗﺑﻝ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ
ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻟﻠﺗﺣﻘﻖ ﻣﻥ ﺻﺣﺔ ﺍﻻﻗﺭﺍﺭﺍﺕ ﻭﺍﻟﺭﺳﻭﻡ ﺍﻟﺗﻲ ﺗﻡ ﺍﻟﺗﺣﻘﻖ ﻣﻧﻬﺎ ﻭ/
ﺃﻭ ﺳﺩﺍﺩﻫﺎ ﻋﻥ ﺍﻟﻔﺗﺭﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﺳﺎﺑﻘﺔ.
3-The exemption will start on the aforementioned fees
from 16/3/2020 to 31/12/2020.
ﻣﺎﺭﺱ 16 - ﻳﺑﺩﺃ ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻖ ﺍﻹﻋﻔﺎء ﻋﻠﻰ ﺑﺩﻻﺕ ﺗﺫﺍﻛﺭ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺫﻛﻭﺭ ﺃﻋﻼﻩ ﺍﻋﺗﺑﺎﺭﺍ ً ﻣﻥ3
.2020 ﺩﻳﺳﻣﺑﺭ 31 ﻭﺣﺗﻰ 2020
Please note that DCT Abu Dhabi's auditors will verify the
event organisers’ compliance with these instructions.
ﻳﺭﺟﻰ ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻡ ﺑﺄﻧﻪ ﺳﻳﺗﻡ ﺍﻟﺗﺩﻗﻳﻖ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺇﻳﺭﺍﺩﺍﺕ ﻣﻧﻅﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻣﻥ ﻗﺑﻝ ﻣﻔﺗﺷﻲ
ﻭﻣﺩﻗﻘﻲ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻟﻠﺗﺣﻘﻖ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻻﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ ﺑﻬﺫﻩ ﺍﻟﺗﻌﻠﻳﻣﺎﺕ.
