Subject: Measurements and guidelines regarding
readiness assurance of Hotel Establishments for the
reopening of Valet Parking Services
ﺍﻟﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻻﺷﺗﺭﺍﻁﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻭﺍﺟﺏ ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻘﻬﺎ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻻﺳﺗﻌﺩﺍﺩ ﻹﻋﺎﺩﺓ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:

Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
In line with the preventative measures for Coronavirus
(COVID-19) issued by relevant entities, and in line with
efforts to sustain and support the tourism industry and
n a t i o n a l e c o n o m i c d e v e l o p m e n t , t a k i n g i n t o
consideration the importance of community and public
health, the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu
Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is announcing that all Hotel
Establishments in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be
allowed to reopen their Valet Parking services starting
from today, Monday 7 September 2020 on condition of
compliance with and fulfilment of the precautionary and
preventive measures outlined below:
ﺗﻣﺎﺷﻳﺎ ً ﻣﻊ ﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺟﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﻧﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺻﺎﺩﺭﺓ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﻭﻟﺔ ﻓﻳﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻌﻠﻖ ﺑﺎﻟﺗﺩﺍﺑﻳﺭ
( ﻭﻓﻳﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻌﻠﻖ ﺑﺩﻋﻡ ﻭﺗﻧﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻘﻁﺎﻉ19ﺍﻟﻭﻗﺎﺋﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﻔﻳﺭﻭﺱ ﻛﻭﺭﻭﻧﺎ )ﻛﻭﻓﻳﺩ-

ﺷﺭﻳﻁﺔ ﺍﻻﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ ﺑﺟﻣﻳﻊ ﺍﻟﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﺿﺣﺔ 2020 ﺳﺑﺗﻣﺑﺭ 7 ﺍﻻﺛﻧﻳﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﺍﻓﻖ
ﺃﺩﻧﺎﻩ:
1- The Establishment must have thermal cameras
installed or a handheld infrared thermometer provided in
the lobby or high footfall areas, ensuring each person is
going through the mandated thermal screening, noting
entry shall be denied for those with a high temperature.
This includes all staff, visitors, and contractors. Every
person who enters the hotel must have their temperature
checked.
- ﻳﺟﺏ ﺃﻥ ﻳﻛﻭﻥ ﻟﺩﻯ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺄﺓ ﻛﺎﻣﻳﺭﺍﺕ ﺣﺭﺍﺭﻳﺔ ﺃﻭ ﻣﻳﺯﺍﻥ ﺍﻟﺣﺭﺍﺭﺓ ﺑﺎﻷﺷﻌﺔ1
ﺗﺣﺕ ﺍﻟﺣﻣﺭﺍء ﺍﻟﻣﺣﻣﻭﻟﺔ ﻳﺗﻡ ﺗﻭﻓﻳﺭﻩ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺭﺩﻫﺔ ﺃﻭ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺎﻁﻖ ﺍﻟﻣﺗﺯﺍﻳﺩﺓ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﺯﻭﺍﺭ،
ﻣﻊ ﺿﻣﺎﻥ ﺧﺿﻭﻉ ﻛﻝ ﺷﺧﺹ ﻟﻠﻔﺣﺹ ﺍﻟﺣﺭﺍﺭﻱ ﺍﻹﻟﺯﺍﻣﻲ، ﻣﻊ ﻣﻼﺣﻅﺔ ﺃﻧﻪ ﻳﺟﺏ
ﻣﻧﻊ ﺩﺧﻭﻝ ﺍﻷﺷﺧﺎﺹ ﺍﻟﺫﻳﻥ ﻳﻌﺎﻧﻭﻥ ﻣﻥ ﺍﺭﺗﻔﺎﻉ ﻓﻲ ﺩﺭﺟﺔ ﺍﻟﺣﺭﺍﺭﺓ. ﻭﻫﺫﺍ ﻳﺷﻣﻝ
ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻅﻔﻳﻥ ﻭﺍﻟﺯﻭﺍﺭ ﻭﺍﻟﻣﻘﺎﻭﻟﻳﻥ. ﻳﺟﺏ ﻓﺣﺹ ﺩﺭﺟﺔ ﺣﺭﺍﺭﺓ ﻛﻝ ﺷﺧﺹ ﻳﺩﺧﻝ
ﺍﻟﻔﻧﺩﻕ.
2- All valet attendants should undergo COVID-19 testing
prior to reopening, and on a bi-weekly basis afterwards.

3- The valet attendant can resume work if the COVID-19
test result is negative.
- ﻳﺟﺏ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺟﻣﻳﻊ ﻣﻭﻅﻔﻲ ﺧﺩﻣﺎﺕ ﺻﻑ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺭﺍﺕ ﺍﺳﺗﺋﻧﺎﻑ ﺍﻟﻌﻣﻝ ﺑﻌﺩ ﺗﻠﻘﻲ3
19. ﻧﺗﺎﺋﺞ ﺳﻠﺑﻳﺔ ﻟـﻛﻭﻓﻳﺩ –
4- The valet attendant should always respect the 2-metre
physical distancing rule.

5- The valet station must be provided with sanitising
wipes, and the staff or contractor must wipe down the
steering wheel, gear stick, keys and any other touched
surface before handing over the car.
- ﻳﺟﺏ ﺃﻥ ﻳﺣﺗﻭﻱ ﻛﻝ ﻣﻭﻗﻊ ﺧﺩﻣﺔ ﺻﻑ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺭﺍﺕ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﻧﺎﺩﻳﻝ ﺍﻟﺗﻌﻘﻳﻡ ﻟﻠﻘﻳﺎﻡ5
ﺑﺗﻌﻘﻳﻡ ﻋﺟﻠﺔ ﺍﻟﻘﻳﺎﺩﺓ ﻭﺟﻬﺎﺯ ﺍﻟﺗﺭﻭﺱ ﻭﺍﻟﻣﻔﺎﺗﻳﺢ ﻭﻛﻝ ﻣﺎ ﻳﻠﻣﺱ ﻗﺑﻝ ﺗﺳﻠﻳﻡ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺭﺓ.
6- The valet attendant must wear gloves and a mask at
all times.
- ﺍﻻﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ ﺑﺎﺭﺗﺩﺍء ﺍﻟﻛﻣﺎﻣﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻟﻘﻔﺎﺯﺍﺕ ﻣﻥ ﻗﺑﻝ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻣﻠﻳﻥ ﻭﺍﻟﺗﻘﻳﺩ ﺑﻬﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻣﻳﻊ6
ﺍﻻﻭﻗﺎﺕ.
7- The car seat and steering wheel must be covered with
a disposable sheet by the valet attendant.
- ﻳﺟﺏ ﺃﻥ ﻳﻐﻁﻰ ﻣﻘﻌﺩ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺭﺓ ﻭﻋﺟﻠﺔ ﺍﻟﻘﻳﺎﺩﺓ ﺑﻐﻁﺎء ﻭﺍﻗﻲ )ﺃﺣﺎﺩﻱ ﺍﻻﺳﺗﺧﺩﺍﻡ(7
ﻣﻥ ﻗﺑﻝ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻅﻑ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﻧﻲ ﺑﺎﻟﺻﻑ.
8- Gloves must be changed and hands must be - ﺇﻟﺯﺍﻣﻳﺔ ﺗﻐﻳﻳﺭ ﺍﻟﻘﻔﺎﺯﺍﺕ ﻭﺗﻌﻘﻳﻡ ﺍﻷﻳﺩﻱ ﺑﻌﺩ ﻛﻝ ﺧﺩﻣﺔ ﺻﻑ ﻟﻠﺳﻳﺎﺭﺓ.8

9- The valet attendant must ensure adequate fresh air
and ventilation is achieved by keeping the AC on and
windows open before delivering the car back to the
guest.
- ﻳﺗﻭﺟﺏ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﻭﻅﻑ ﺧﺩﻣﺔ ﺻﻑ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺭﺓ ﻓﺗﺢ ﻣﻛﻳﻑ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺭﺓ ﻟﺑﻌﺽ ﺍﻟﻭﻗﺕ9
ﻋﻧﺩ ﻓﺗﺢ ﺍﻟﺷﺑﺎﺑﻳﻙ ﻭﺍﻷﺑﻭﺍﺏ ﻟﺿﻣﺎﻥ ﺩﻭﺭﺍﻥ ﺍﻟﻬﻭﺍء ﺍﻟﻧﻘﻲ ﺩﺍﺧﻝ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺭﺓ.
10- The valet station must be cleaned and disinfected
frequently.
- ﺍﻟﺗﻧﻅﻳﻑ ﻭﺍﻟﺗﻌﻘﻳﻡ ﺍﻟﻣﺳﺗﻣﺭ ﻟﻛﻝ ﻣﻭﻗﻊ ﺧﺩﻣﺔ ﺻﻑ ﻟﻠﺳﻳﺎﺭﺍﺕ.10
11- The guest should be encouraged to use ‘smart’
payment as a preferred method to reduce contact and
contamination. Cash payments are still valid and should
not be rejected, although hand sanitisers should be
installed at payment counters.
- ﺗﺷﺟﻳﻊ ﺍﻟﺯﻭﺍﺭ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﺳﺗﺧﺩﺍﻡ ﺃﻧﻅﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﺩﻓﻊ ﺍﻹﻟﻛﺗﺭﻭﻧﻳﺔ ﻟﺿﻣﺎﻥ ﺍﻟﺗﻘﻠﻳﻝ ﻣﻥ11
ﺍﻟﻠﻣﺱ ﻭﻧﻘﻝ ﺍﻟﻌﺩﻭﻯ، ﻣﻊ ﻋﺩﻡ ﺭﻓﺽ ﺍﻟﺩﻓﻊ ﺍﻟﻧﻘﺩﻱ ﻭﺍﻟﺗﺄﻛﺩ ﻣﻥ ﺗﻭﻓﻳﺭ ﻣﻌﻘﻣﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻳﺩﻳﻥ
ﻋﻧﺩ ﻣﻧﺎﻁﻖ ﺍﻟﺩﻓﻊ.
12- Smart payment machines are to be sanitised before
and after being presented to any guest.
- ﻳﺟﺏ ﺗﻌﻘﻳﻡ ﺃﺟﻬﺯﺓ ﺍﻟﺩﻓﻊ ﺍﻟﺫﻛﻳﺔ ﻗﺑﻝ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ ﺗﻘﺩﻳﻣﻬﺎ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺃﻱ ﺯﺍﺋﺭ.12
13- Daily misting with disinfection solution must be
performed in all the operational areas.
- ﻳﺟﺏ ﺇﺟﺭﺍء ﺍﻟﺗﻌﻘﻳﻡ ﺑﺎﻟﺑﺧﺎﺭ ﺍﻟﻳﻭﻣﻲ ﻟﻣﺣﻠﻭﻝ ﺍﻟﺗﻁﻬﻳﺭ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻣﻳﻊ ﻣﻧﺎﻁﻖ13
ﺍﻟﻌﻣﻠﻳﺎﺕ.
The above guidelines and requirements shall be
applied, bearing in mind compliance with all other
circulars and requirements issued by other relevant
government agencies.

Please note that hotel establishments will be inspected
by DCT Abu Dhabi's inspectors to verify compliance
with these instructions.
