Subject: Obligations Related to Holiday Home Licensing تاللتزامات المتعلقة بترخيص بيوت العطالا المـوضوع:
Greetings, تحية طيبة وبعد،
Pursuant to Law No. 8 of 2018, establishing the
Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi
with an overall objective to develop and elevate
quality standards of the tourism industry in the
Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and in accordance with the
provisions of the Holiday Homes Activity Regulation
No. 3 of 2020 and its amendments and the circulars
issued to regulate the activity,
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu
Dhabi formally notifies all owners and operators
that, effective 1 January 2026, the regulations
governing unlicensed holiday home listings shall be
fully enforced as detailed below:
1. All units are required to obtain a valid
licence as a fundamental condition for listing
on online platforms for holiday home
advertisement and booking.
2. All online platforms are required to provide a
mandatory field for entering the unit’s
licence number issued by the Department of
Culture and Tourism, ensuring it is clearly
visible to beneficiaries.
3. Holiday home owners or operators must
ensure that the licence number is correctly
entered and verified for accuracy.
4. The registration of shared units on online
platforms is strictly prohibited. The
management of the online platform is
required to establish a clear and effective
mechanism to ensure compliance with this
decision and to take the necessary
measures.

يظهر بشكل واضح للمستفيدين.

5. All online platforms must remove the
unlicensed listings within thirty (30) days
from the date of receipt of the notice issued
by the Department.
6. All online platforms must designate an
official communication channel to receive all
notifications issued by the Department of
Culture and Tourism.
Appeals
Any party has the right to submit a grievance to the
Department of Culture and Tourism concerning any
decisions, actions, or measures taken against them,
in accordance with the provisions of the Law
establishing the Department, its amendments and
the relevant circulars. Grievance requests must be
submitted within sixty (60) days from the date of
notification of the decision. The Department shall
review and decide on the grievance within ninety
(90) days from the date of submission. The decision
issued shall be final and binding.

التظلمات
ي طرف التقدم بطلب التظلم إلى دائرة الثقافة والسياحةأل ً يحق
جراءات أو التدابير المتخذة بحقه، وذلك وفقاإلبشأن القرارات أو ا
ته والتعاميم ذات الصلة، علىالحكام قانون انشاء الدائرة وتعديأل
تتجاوز ستين )60( يوما ً من ال ل مدةالأن يتم تقديم طلب التظلم خ
لالتاريخ التبليغ بالقرار. وتتولى الدائرة البت في طلب التظلم خ
تسعين )90( يوما ً من تاريخ تقديم طلب التظلم، ويُعد القرار
الصادر في هذا الشأن نهائيا ً وملزماً.
