Subject: Launch Event Licensing Guidelines in the Emirate
of Abu Dhabi
ﺇﻁﻼﻕ ﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﺗﺭﺧﻳﺹ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻓﻲ ﺇﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:
Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
Pursuant to Law No. 8 of 2018 establishing the Department
of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) with a
mandate to develop the tourism industry in the Emirate of
Abu Dhabi, and upon the Executive Council’s Chairman
Resolution No. 54/2016 on the events licensing system in
Abu Dhabi, and upon DCT Abu Dhabi’s Chairman Resolution
No. 11/2019 relating to the application mechanism of the
events licensing system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through
the tasks assigned to DCT Abu Dhabi.
ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺇﻧﺷﺎء ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ – ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ، 2018 ( ﻟﺳﻧﺔ8ﺑﻧﺎء ً ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﺎﻧﻭﻥ ﺭﻗﻡ )
ﻭﻣﺎ ﻧﺹ ﻋﻠﻳﻪ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﻬﺎﻡ ﻭﺍﻻﺧﺗﺻﺎﺻﺎﺕ ﻟﺗﺣﻘﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﺗﻧﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ،

ﺧﻼﻝ ﺍﻟﻘﻳﺎﻡ ﺑﺎﻟﻣﻬﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻛﻠﺔ ﻟﻠﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ.
DCT Abu Dhabi announces the launch of the Event
Licensing Guide for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which serves
as a comprehensive reference aimed at simplifying and
standardising the procedures for obtaining event licences
throughout the emirate.
ﺗُﻁﻠﻖ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ – ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﺗﺭﺧﻳﺹ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻓﻲ ﺇﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ،
ﺍﻟﺫﻱ ﻳُﻌﺗﺑﺭ ﻣﺭﺟﻌﺎ ً ﺷﺎﻣﻼ ً ﻳﻬﺩﻑ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺗﺑﺳﻳﻁ ﻭﺗﻭﺣﻳﺩ ﺇﺟﺭﺍءﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﺣﺻﻭﻝ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﺭﺍﺧﻳﺹ
ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻓﻲ ﻛﺎﻓﺔ ﺃﻧﺣﺎء ﺍﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ.
The guide contains detailed information about the event
licensing system, including clear guidelines on the standards
and requirements necessary for issuing and managing
licences for various types of events, including cultural,
sports, entertainment, and business events.
ﻳﺣﺗﻭﻱ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﻌﻠﻭﻣﺎﺕ ﻣﻔﺻﻠﺔ ﺣﻭﻝ ﻧﻅﺎﻡ ﺗﺭﺧﻳﺹ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ، ﻣﻊ ﺇﺭﺷﺎﺩﺍﺕ
ﻭﺍﺿﺣﺔ ﺣﻭﻝ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﻭﺍﻟﻣﺗﻁﻠﺑﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻼﺯﻣﺔ ﻹﺻﺩﺍﺭ ﻭﺇﺩﺍﺭﺓ ﺗﺭﺍﺧﻳﺹ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺑﻣﺧﺗﻠﻑ
ﺃﻧﻭﺍﻋﻬﺎ، ﺑﻣﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺫﻟﻙ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﻳﺔ، ﺍﻟﺭﻳﺎﺿﻳﺔ، ﺍﻟﺗﺭﻓﻳﻬﻳﺔ، ﻭﻓﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻷﻋﻣﺎﻝ.
Additionally, the guide outlines compliance procedures to
ensure an effective regulatory environment and enhances
transparency and efficiency among event organisers and
relevant authorities. It also provides comprehensive
information on application steps and best practices to ensure
the success of events.
ﻳﺗﺿﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﺃﻳﺿﺎ ً ﺇﺟﺭﺍءﺍﺕ ﺍﻻﻣﺗﺛﺎﻝ ﻟﺗﻭﻓﻳﺭ ﺑﻳﺋﺔ ﺗﻧﻅﻳﻣﻳﺔ ﻓﻌّﺎﻟﺔ، ﻭﻳﻌﺯﺯ ﻣﺳﺗﻭﻯ
ﺍﻟﺷﻔﺎﻓﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﻛﻔﺎءﺓ ﺑﻳﻥ ﻣﻧﻅﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻟﺟﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﻧﻳﺔ. ﻛﻣﺎ ﻳﻘﺩﻡ ﻣﻌﻠﻭﻣﺎﺕ ﺷﺎﻣﻠﺔ ﺣﻭﻝ
ﺧﻁﻭﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﺗﻘﺩﻳﻡ ﻭﺃﻓﺿﻝ ﺍﻟﻣﻣﺎﺭﺳﺎﺕ ﻟﺿﻣﺎﻥ ﻧﺟﺎﺡ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ.
Moreover, the guide covers all types of required licences and
permits, including those for large events, and presents
specific guidelines for cultural events, religious occasions,
and charitable activities, emphasising adherence to Emirati
values and traditions.
ﻋﻼﻭﺓ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺫﻟﻙ، ﻳﻐﻁﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﻛﺎﻓﺔ ﺃﻧﻭﺍﻉ ﺍﻟﺗﺭﺍﺧﻳﺹ ﻭﺍﻟﺗﺻﺎﺭﻳﺢ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻠﻭﺑﺔ، ﺑﻣﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺫﻟﻙ
ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻛﺑﺭﻯ، ﻭﻳﺳﺗﻌﺭﺽ ﺇﺭﺷﺎﺩﺍﺕ ﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﻣﻧﺎﺳﺑﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺩﻳﻧﻳﺔ
ﻭﺍﻟﺧﻳﺭﻳﺔ، ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﺗﺄﻛﻳﺩ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻻﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ ﺑﺎﻟﻘﻳﻡ ﻭﺍﻟﺗﻘﺎﻟﻳﺩ ﺍﻹﻣﺎﺭﺍﺗﻳﺔ.
The launch of this guide is part of the efforts of DCT Abu
Dhabi to facilitate event organisation procedures and
supports its Tourism Strategy 2030, which aims to increase
the number of visitors to the emirate.
ﻳﺄﺗﻲ ﺇﻁﻼﻕ ﻫﺫﺍ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﻓﻲ ﺇﻁﺎﺭ ﺟﻬﻭﺩ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ – ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻟﺗﻳﺳﻳﺭ
ﺍﻟﺗﻲ ﺗﺳﺗﻬﺩﻑ ﺯﻳﺎﺩﺓ 2030 ﺇﺟﺭﺍءﺍﺕ ﺗﻧﻅﻳﻡ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ، ﻭﻳﺩﻋﻡ ﺍﺳﺗﺭﺍﺗﻳﺟﻳﺗﻬﺎ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ

to obtain the necessary approvals through the Event
Licensing System and relevant authorities prior to the event.
