Subject: Application of the Accessible Events Manual ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﺍﻹﺭﺷﺎﺩﻱ ﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﺳﻬﻭﻟﺔ ﺍﻟﻭﺻﻭﻝ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:
Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
With reference to the above subject and based on Law
No. (8) of 2018, establishing the Department of Culture
and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) with an
overall mandate to develop and elevate quality
standards of the tourism industry to achieve tourism
development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the
Chairman of DCT Abu Dhabi Resolution No. (78) of
2023, concerning the application of The Accessible
Events Manual. For Event Organisers and Venues.
ﺑﺷﺄﻥ 2018 ( ﻟﺳﻧﺔ8ﺑﺎﻹﺷﺎﺭﺓ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﺿﻭﻉ ﺃﻋﻼﻩ، ﻭﺍﺳﺗﻧﺎﺩﺍ ً ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﺎﻧﻭﻥ ﺭﻗﻡ )
ﺇﻧﺷﺎء ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻭﻣﺎ ﻧﺹ ﻋﻠﻳﻪ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﻬﺎﻡ
ﻭﺍﻻﺧﺗﺻﺎﺻﺎﺕ ﻟﺗﺣﻘﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﺗﻧﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ، ﻭﺫﻟﻙ ﻣﻥ ﺧﻼﻝ ﺍﻟﻘﻳﺎﻡ
ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺇﻋﺗﻣﺎﺩ 2023 ( ﻟﺳﻧﺔ78ﺑﺎﻟﻣﻬﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻛﻠﺔ ﻟﻠﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ؛ ﻭﻗﺭﺍﺭ ﺭﺋﻳﺱ ﺍﻟﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺭﻗﻡ )
ﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﺳﻬﻭﻟﺔ ﺍﻟﻭﺻﻭﻝ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ.
In line with the Abu Dhabi Government Strategy for
People of Determination 2020-2024, DCT Abu Dhabi
has introduced an Accessible Events Manual that
encompasses multiple aspects of accessibility relating
to event planning, customer service, and provisions for
indoor and outdoor event venues and other relevant
facilities.
ﺃﻁﻠﻘﺕ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ – ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﺍﻹﺭﺷﺎﺩﻱ ﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﺳﻬﻭﻟﺔ ﺍﻟﻭﺻﻭﻝ
ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ، ﺍﻟﺫﻱ ﻳُﻐﻁﻲ ﻛﺎﻓﺔ ﺍﻟﺟﻭﺍﻧﺏ ﺫﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﺻﻠﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺗﺧﻁﻳﻁ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ، ﻭﺇﺩﺍﺭﺓ
ﻣﺭﺍﻓﻘﻬﺎ ﺍﻟﺩﺍﺧﻠﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺧﺎﺭﺟﻳﺔ ﻭﻏﻳﺭﻫﺎ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ، ﻭﺧﺩﻣﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻌﻣﻼء، ﺑﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻣﺎﺷﻰ
.2024 -2020 ﻣﻊ ﺍﺳﺗﺭﺍﺗﻳﺟﻳﺔ ﺣﻛﻭﻣﺔ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻷﺻﺣﺎﺏ ﺍﻟﻬﻣﻡ
The Manual aims to ensure that event organisers and
venues within the emirate adopt a standardised
approach to accessibility, fostering a more inclusive and
welcoming environment for all visitors.
ﻳﻬﺩﻑ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺿﻣﺎﻥ ﺍﻋﺗﻣﺎﺩ ﻭﺗﻁﺑﻳﻖ ﻣﻧﻅﻣﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ، ﻭﺍﻟﻣﺭﺍﻓﻖ، ﻭﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ
ﺍﻷﺧﺭﻯ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﻭﻓﻖ ﻣﻧﻅﻭﻣﺔ ﻣﻭﺣﺩﺓ ﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﺳﻬﻭﻟﺔ ﺍﻟﻭﺻﻭﻝ ﻟﺿﻣﺎﻥ ﺗﻭﻓﻳﺭ
ﺗﺟﺎﺭﺏ ﺃﻛﺛﺭ ﺷﻣﻭﻟﻳﺔ ﺗُﺭﺣﺏ ﺑﺎﻟﺟﻣﻳﻊ.
We aim to raise awareness and create more unique
experiences for People of Determination, to ensure they
have the same opportunities as other visitors to explore
and enjoy all that Abu Dhabi has to offer. The initiative
endeavors to not only elevate visitor satisfaction but also
increase footfall numbers to the destinations managed
by DCT Abu Dhabi.
ﻭﻧﻁﻣﺢ ﺃﻳﺿﺎ ً ﺇﻟﻰ ﺭﻓﻊ ﻣﺳﺗﻭﻯ ﺍﻟﻭﻋﻲ ﺑﺣﻘﻭﻕ ﻭﺍﺣﺗﻳﺎﺟﺎﺕ ﺫﻭﻱ ﺍﻟﻬﻣﻡ، ﻭﺃﻫﻣﻳﺔ
ﺗﻁﻭﻳﺭ ﺗﺟﺎﺭﺏ ﻓﺭﻳﺩﺓ ﺗﻠﺑﻲ ﺍﺣﺗﻳﺎﺟﺎﺗﻬﻡ، ﻭﺗﻣﻧﺣﻬﻡ ﻓﺭﺻﺔ ﺍﻛﺗﺷﺎﻑ ﻛﻝ ﻣﺎ ﺗُﻘﺩﻣﻪ
ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻣﻥ ﻋﺭﻭﺽ ﺍﺳﺗﺛﻧﺎﺋﻳﺔ. ﻭﻻ ﺗﺳﻌﻰ ﻫﺫﻩ ﺍﻟﻣﺑﺎﺩﺭﺓ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻻﺭﺗﻘﺎء ﺑﻣﺳﺗﻭﻯ
ﺭﺿﺎ ﺍﻟﺯﻭﺍﺭ ﻓﺣﺳﺏ، ﺑﻝ ﺗُﺳﻬﻡ ﻛﺫﻟﻙ ﻓﻲ ﺯﻳﺎﺩﺓ ﺍﻹﻗﺑﺎﻝ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﻌﺎﻟﻡ ﻭﻣﻭﺍﻗﻊ ﺍﻹﻣﺎﺭﺓ
ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺗﺭﻓﻳﻬﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ.
Your role is crucial in achieving these objectives and we
appreciate your cooperation in implementing the
standards laid out in the Manual as appropriate for your
event planning, venues, and relevant facilities. Please
note that as of 1st December 2023, a grace-period for a
year will be granted to begin implementing the
mandatory standards listed, after which DCT inspectors
shall conduct inspection rounds at events to ensure
compliance with the mandatory standards specified in
the manual.
ﻧﺅﻣﻥ ﺑﺩﻭﺭﻛﻡ ﺍﻟﺣﻳﻭﻱ ﻓﻲ ﺗﺣﻘﻳﻖ ﻫﺫﻩ ﺍﻷﻫﺩﺍﻑ، ﻭﻧﻘﺩﺭ ﺗﻌﺎﻭﻧﻛﻡ ﻓﻲ ﺗﻧﻔﻳﺫ ﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ
ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ ﻓﻳﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻌﻠﻖ ﺑﺗﺧﻁﻳﻁ ﻓﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺗﻛﻡ، ﻭﺇﺩﺍﺭﺓ ﻣﺭﺍﻓﻘﻬﺎ ﻭﻣﻧﺷﺂﺗﻬﺎ. ﻭﻗﺩ ﺗﻘﺭﺭ ﻣﻧﺢ ﻓﺗﺭﺓ
، ﻟﺑﺩء ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ2023 ﺩﻳﺳﻣﺑﺭ 1 ﺳﻣﺎﺡ ﻟﻣﺩﺓ ﻋﺎﻡ ﻭﺍﺣﺩ ﺍﻋﺗﺑﺎﺭﺍ ً ﻣﻥ
ﺍﻹﻟﺯﺍﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻣﺣﺩﺩﺓ ﻭﻓﻖ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ، ﻭﺑﻌﺩ ﺍﻧﺗﻬﺎء ﻓﺗﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺳﻣﺎﺡ ﺳﻳﻘﻭﻡ ﻣﻔﺗﺷﻭ ﺍﻟﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ
ﺑﺈﺟﺭﺍء ﺩﻭﺭﺍﺕ ﺗﻔﺗﻳﺷﻳﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻳﺎﺕ ﻟﻠﺗﺄﻛﺩ ﻣﻥ ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﺍﻹﻟﺯﺍﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻣﺣﺩﺩﺓ
ﻭﻓﻖ ﺍﻟﺩﻟﻳﻝ.
