Administrative Decision No. (274) of 2024 Concerning the Suspension of Services and Transactions for Persons Having Obligations to the Department and its Affiliated Entities

Article 1 — Suspension of Services and Transactions ¶

1. The provision of services, transactions, and requests within the Department of
Municipalities and Transport and its affiliated entities shall be suspended for any natural or
legal person who has any outstanding obligations or dues payable to the department or any
of its affiliated entities.
2. This suspension applies to all companies, institutions, and individuals, including but not
limited to: real estate practitioners, engineers, engineering consultancy offices, contractors,
surveyors, and real estate appraisers.
3. Services, transactions, and requests that have been suspended will be reinstated once the
obligations have been fulfilled and paid.

Article 2 — Applying the Suspension in the Electronic Systems ¶

The Suspension shall be applied in the approved electronic systems as outlined in the following
table:

judicial ruling is received.

Article 3 — Exceptions ¶

The services, transactions and requests referred to in the below schedule shall be excluded
from the provisions of Article (1) of this decision, in accordance with the specific controls
assigned thereto:

Article 4 — Authorization ¶

The Director General of Operations Affairs in the Department shall be granted the following
authorities:
1. The authority to update the schedule indicated in Article (3) according to the
requirements of the public interest.
2. The authority to temporarily lift the suspension.

3. The authority to authorize any employee of the department or its affiliated entities to
temporarily lift the suspension.

Article 5 — Repeals ¶

Any text or provision contrary to the Provisions of this decision shall be repealed.

Article 6 — Publication ¶

This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall become effective from the
date of its publication.
