Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2025 Concerning the Regulation of the Movement of Heavy Vehicles on the Roads of Abu Dhabi City
Article 1 ¶
Heavy vehicles (trucks, tankers, and heavy equipment) are banned from driving on the roads of Abu Dhabi
City from Monday to Thursday during the period shown in the below table:

Evening 03:00 pm 07:00 pm
Article 2 ¶
Heavy vehicles (trucks, tankers, and heavy equipment) are banned from driving on the roads of Abu Dhabi
City on Fridays during the period shown in the below table:

Morning 06:30 am 09:00 am
Evening 11:00 am 01:00 pm
Article 3 ¶
The Integrated Transport Centre shall coordinate with the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters to ensure
that heavy vehicles’ owners adhere to the specified times.
Article 5 ¶
This decision shall become effective from the date of its publication and shall be published in the Official
Gazette.
