Subject: Dealing with positive COVID-19 cases in
tourism restaurants
ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﺎﻋﻡ Covid-19 ﺍﻟﺗﻌﺎﻣﻝ ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﺣﺎﻻﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺻﺎﺑﺔ ﺑﻣﺭﺽ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:
ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ
Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
In line with preventative measures for Coronavirus
(COVID-19), and in line with efforts to sustain and
support the tourism industry and national economic
development, taking into consideration the importance of
community and public health, the Department of Culture
and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is instructing
all tourism restaurants in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to
adhere to the following procedures pertaining to the
process of dealing with positive cases of COVID-19:
ﺗﻣﺎﺷﻳﺎ ً ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﺗﺩﺍﺑﻳﺭ ﺍﻻﺣﺗﺭﺍﺯﻳﺔ ﻭﺍﻹﺟﺭﺍءﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻭﻗﺎﺋﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﻔﻳﺭﻭﺱ ﻛﻭﺭﻭﻧﺎ
(، ﻭﻓﻳﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻌﻠﻖ ﺑﺩﻋﻡ ﻭﺗﻧﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻘﻁﺎﻉ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻲ ﻭﺍﻻﻗﺗﺻﺎﺩ ﺍﻟﻭﻁﻧﻲ، ﺑﻣﺎ ﻻ19)ﻛﻭﻓﻳﺩ-
ﻳﺗﻌﺎﺭﺽ ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﺻﺣﺔ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻣﺔ ﻭﺃﻣﻥ ﻭﺳﻼﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﻣﺟﺗﻣﻊ،
ﻓﻲ ﺇﻣﺎﺭﺓ ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﺗﻭﺟّﻪ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﺟﻣﻳﻊ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﺎﻋﻡ ﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﻳﺔ
ﺑﺎﻻﻁﻼﻉ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﺿﺣﺔ ﻓﻲ ﻫﺫﺍ ﺍﻟﺗﻌﻣﻳﻡ، ﻭﺍﻟﻣﺗﻌﻠﻘﺔ ﺑﺎﻹﺟﺭﺍءﺍﺕ
: 19 ﺍﻟﻭﺍﺟﺏ ﺍﺗﺧﺎﺫﻫﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺎﻝ ﻭﺟﻭﺩ ﺃﻳﺔ ﺇﺻﺎﺑﺎﺕ ﺑﻔﻳﺭﻭﺱ ﻛﻭﻓﻳﺩ –
1- The restaurant should immediately shut down
temporarily.
- ﻭﻗﻑ ﺍﻟﻌﻣﻝ ﺍﻟﻔﻭﺭﻱ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻌﻡ ﻭﺑﺷﻛﻝ ﻣﺅﻗﺕ.1
2- The restaurant should quarantine all employees who
came into contact with the positive cases either at work
or at rooms where they reside. The isolation should be in
appropriate rooms for 14 days (meeting the published
quarantine guidelines). The positive cases to be isolated
until cleared by the relevant authorities.
- ﻳﻭﺟﺏ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻌﻡ ﺣﺟﺭ ﺟﻣﻳﻊ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻅﻔﻳﻥ ﻣﻣﻥ ﻫﻡ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﺗﺻﺎﻝ ﻣﺑﺎﺷﺭ2
ﺑﺎﻟﺣﺎﻻﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺻﺎﺑﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻌﻣﻝ ﺃﻭ ﻓﻲ ﻏﺭﻑ ﺍﻟﺳﻛﻥ ﺍﻟﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﻬﻡ. ﺍﻟﻌﺯﻝ ﻳﺟﺏ ﺃﻥ
ﻳﻭﻣﺎ ً )ﺗﻭﺍﻓﻘﺎ ً ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﺗﻣﺩﺓ ﻟﻠﺣﺟﺭ 14 ﻳﻛﻭﻥ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻐﺭﻑ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺎﺳﺑﺔ ﻟﻣﺩﺓ
ﺍﻟﺻﺣﻲ(. ﻭﻳﺗﻡ ﻋﺯﻝ ﺍﻟﺣﺎﻻﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺻﺎﺑﺔ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺣﻳﻥ ﺷﻔﺎﺋﻬﺎ ﻭﺗﺄﻛﻳﺩ ﺧﻠﻭﻫﺎ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﺭﺽ
ﻣﻥ ﻗﺑﻝ ﺍﻟﺳﻠﻁﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺧﺗﺻﺔ.
3- The restaurant to disinfect the entire premises before
reopening.
- ﻳﺗﻭﺟﺏ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻌﻡ ﺗﻁﻬﻳﺭ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻗﻊ ﺑﺄﻛﻣﻠﻪ ﻗﺑﻝ ﺇﻋﺎﺩﺓ ﻓﺗﺣﻪ.3
4- The restaurant can open if they:
a. Get extra staff who were not in contact with the
positive cases who have new ‘negative’ tests.
b. Completed the disinfection process for the
premises.
- ﻳﻣﻛﻥ ﻓﺗﺢ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻌﻡ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺣﺎﻻﺕ ﺍﻟﺗﺎﻟﻳﺔ:4
ﺃ. ﺍﻻﺳﺗﻌﺎﻧﺔ ﺑﻣﻭﻅﻔﻳﻥ ﺇﺿﺎﻓﻳﻳﻥ ﻣﻣﻥ ﻟﻳﺳﻭﺍ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﺗﺻﺎﻝ ﻣﺑﺎﺷﺭ ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﺣﺎﻻﺕ
ﺍﻟﻣﺻﺎﺑﺔ، ﻋﻠﻰ ﺃﻥ ﻳﺟﺗﺎﺯﻭﺍ ﺍﻟﻔﺣﻭﺻﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻼﺯﻣﺔ ﺑﻧﺗﺎﺋﺞ ﺳﻠﺑﻳﺔ ﺟﺩﻳﺩﺓ ﻟﻬﻡ.
ﺏ. ﺍﺳﺗﻛﻣﺎﻝ ﻋﻣﻠﻳﺔ ﺗﻁﻬﻳﺭ ﺍﻟﻣﻛﺎﻥ.
5- If the restaurant has no available staff with no history
of contact and negative results that can support
operations it must remain shut until it can provide
evidence of the required.
- ﻓﻲ ﺣﺎﻝ ﻋﺩﻡ ﻭﺟﻭﺩ ﺍﻟﻌﺩﺩ ﺍﻟﻛﺎﻓﻲ ﻣﻥ ﺍﻟﻣﻭﻅﻔﻳﻥ ﻣﻣﻥ ﻟﺩﻳﻬﻡ ﻧﺗﺎﺋﺞ ﺳﻠﺑﻳﺔ5
ً
ﻟﻠﻔﺣﻭﺻﺎﺕ ﻟﺩﻋﻡ ﻋﻣﻠﻳﺎﺕ ﺳﻳﺭ ﻋﻣﻝ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻌﻡ، ﻓﺈﻥ ﺇﻏﻼﻕ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻌﻡ ﻳﻅﻝ ﻣﺳﺗﻣﺭﺍ
ﺣﺗﻰ ﻳﺗﻡ ﺗﻘﺩﻳﻡ ﺍﻷﺩﻟﺔ ﺍﻟﻼﺯﻣﺔ ﻹﻋﺎﺩﺓ ﺍﻟﺗﺷﻐﻳﻝ.
6- No reopening for the restaurant without a final
decision from DOH operations.
- ﻋﺩﻡ ﺇﻋﺎﺩﺓ ﻓﺗﺢ ﺍﻟﻣﻁﻌﻡ ﺩﻭﻥ ﻗﺭﺍﺭ ﻧﻬﺎﺋﻲ ﻣﻥ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺻﺣﺔ.6
Please note that hotel establishments and tourism
restaurants will be checked by DCT Abu Dhabi's
inspectors to verify compliance with these instructions.

The above guidelines and requirements shall be
applied, bearing in mind compliance with all other
circulars and requirements issued by other relevant
government agencies.
