Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
In line with the preventative measures for Coronavirus
(COVID-19), the Department of Culture and Tourism –
Abu Dhabi is instructing your hotel establishment in the
Emirate of Abu Dhabi to comply with the attached
guidelines which circulated earlier (Circular no 25/2020
dated 27 March 2020) pertaining the Daily Operations in
Hotel Quarantine for adherence and compliance
assurance with the given guidelines.

COVID-19 HOME QUARANTINE
it is possible that they are infected with the disease, but still appear
healthy though they are a carrier of the virus and have no signs or
symptoms. They may after a while develop symptoms and thus
contribute to the transmission of the disease to many people.
During quarantine, a set of medical measures are taken to control
infection and limit its spread among people throughout the
incubation period.
The incubation period:
The incubation period is the period between infection and the
onset of symptoms. In the COVID-19 virus, the incubation period
is estimated at 14 days.
فقد يكون الشخص السليم ًحامال لفيروس أو ًمسببا للمرض ل كن لم
تظهر عليه العالمات أو األعراض المرضية بعد، ولكن بعد فتر ة تبدأ
هذه األعراض المرضية بالظهور ويصبح بذلك قد ساهم في نقل م سبب
المرض للكثير من األشخاص، ويتم خالل الحجر الصحي تقديم
مجموعة من اإلجراءات الطبية لمكافحة العدوى والحد من انتشارها
بين الناس طوال فترة حضانة الفيروس .
فترة الحضانة :
فترة حضانة المرض هي الفترة مابين االصابة بالعدوى وظهور
األعراض المرضية وفي فيروس كورونا COVID-19 تقدر فترة
الحضانة ب 14 يوم .
Quarantine concept:
It separates and restricts the movement of people
who were exposed to a contagious disease to see
if they become sick.
مفهوم الحجر الصحي :
هو إبعاد وعزل األشخاص الذين خالطوا أشخاص آخرون
مصابين بالمرض، فمن المحتمل إصابتهم بالمرض،

CORONAVIRUS DISEASE
(COVID-19)
فيروس كورونا المستجد ( COVID-19 ) من ساللة كورونا، تم التعرف عليها ألول مره في
مجموعة من الحاالت بأعراض االلتهاب الرئوي في مدينة ووهان بمقاطعة هوبي الصينية .
• معظم الحاالت كانت مرتبطة وبائيا بسوق المأكوالت البحرية والحيوانية .
SARS-COV2 is a new strain of coronavirus, first identified in a clusters
with pneumonia symptoms in Wuhan city, Hubei province of China.
• Most of the cases were epidemiologically linked to the seafood and
animal market.

WHAT IS THE DISEASE ?
™ من المحتمل أن يكون فيروس كورونا ال مستجد قد ن شأ
من مصدر حيواني .
™ تشير المعلومات الحالية أنه يمكن لفيروس كورون ا الجديد
أن ينتقل من شخص إلى أخر عن طريق الرذاذ الملوث
من شخص مريض ( من خالل السعال أو العطس ) أو
األيدي الملوثة .
™ it’s likely that the SARS-COV2 originated
in an animal species, and then spread to
humans.
™ Person to person spread of the novel
coronavirus is reported through
contaminated droplets from a person who is
sick with the illness (through coughing or
sneezing) or contaminated hands.

الكمام الواقي خارج نطاق الفندق ويتواجد فيها أفراد األمن وضباط االرتباط من الج هات
المعنية لتوفير الخدمات العامة واالحتياجات الشخصية للضيوف الخضراء
الكمام الواقي والقفازات فقط
منطقة االستقبال والساللم والمصاعد والممرات بين الغرف وغرف الخ دمات
( الغسيل والمطابخ ) ويتواجد فيها أطقم العمل في الفندق لتوفير ال خدمات العامة
اليومية للنزالء
الصفراء
الكمام الواقي والقفازات والرداء الواقي
وواقي العينين غرف األشخاص الموضوعين تحت الحجر ويتواجد فيها النزالء الحمراء

GENERAL HEALTH
INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOTEL
MANAGEMENT:
يجب أن يتم التأكد من مغاد رة
جميع النزالء وقت تفعيل
الفندق لغرض الحجر
الصحي .
Ensure that all guests
leave at the time the
hotel is activated for
the purpose of
quarantine.
يجب أن يتم التأكد من
جاهزية جميع الغرف
ونظافتها .
Ensure that all rooms
are ready and clean.
توفير أغطية إضافية وأك ياس
الغسيل والمهمالت في
الغرف .
Additional covers,
laundry bags and trash
can be provided in the
rooms.
يجب أن يكون أفراد طاقم العمل في الفندق ثابت طوال فترة الحجر الصحي على أن يوفر لهم سكن داخل الفندق ويمنع تبديلهم إال في
حاالت الطوارئ بعد إخطار ممثل دائرة الصحة - أبوظبي وضمن اشتراطات وقائية معينة .
The hotel staff must be fixed throughout the quarantine period, and they must be provided with
accommodation inside the hotel and their replacement is not permitted except in emergency situations
after notifying the representative of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi and within certain preventive
requirements

MANAGEMENT:
في حالة تزويد الفندق بمؤن من الخارج يتم ت حديد
منطقة لإلنزال ويمنع منعا باتا تواجد كال الطرف ين
( المرسل والمستقبل ) في نفس الوقت على أن ي تم
إنزال المؤن من قبل المرسل وبعد ذلك يغادر المو قع،
ومن ثم يأتي المستقبل لحمل المؤن .
In the event that the hotel is provided
with supplies from outside, a drop area
is defined and it is strictly forbidden to
have both parties (the sender and
receiver) at the same time, as first the
supplies are released by the sender and
then leaves the site, afterwards the
receiver comes to carry the supplies
أي مشروع تطويري قائم في
الفندق يتم تأجيله حتى انته اء فترة
الحجر الصحي .
Any existing development
project in the hotel is
postponed until the end of
the quarantine period.
عملية غسيل المالبس وأغطية المفارش تتم في مغسلة الفندق ويمنع منعا باتا
خلطها مع مالبس أفراد أطقم العمل في الفندق على أن تكون عملية الغ سيل
على فترتين .
The process of washing clothes and bedsheets is carried out
in the hotel laundry, and it is strictly forbidden to mix it with
the clothes of the hotel staff, and make sure that the
washing process is in two periods.
يتم التأكيد على النزالء بعدم
مغادرة غرفهم على يتم توفير
جميع الخدمات الالزمة لهم أثناء
تواجدهم في غرفهم .
Guests are assured not to
leave their rooms,
provided all necessary
services are provided to
them while they are in
their rooms.

OTHER HEALTH INSTRUCTIONS
™ التقيد بلبس أدوات الحماية الشخصية الالزمة بكل منطقة من م ناطق
الحجر الصحي .
™ عند الحاجة للدخول والتواصل مع النزالء يجب مراعاة المسافة
المناسبة أثناء الحديث على أن ال تقل عن مسافة متر ونصف .
™ في حاالت العنف والمقاومة يجب ارتداء جميع وسائل الحماية
الشخصية الالزمة للتعامل مع مثل هذه المواقف ويمنع منعا بات ا
الشروع في اتخاذ اإلجراء حتى التأكد من لبس وسائل الحماية
الشخصية .
™ عند استالم اي شيء من أهالي النزالء خارج الفندق يتم تسلي مه
إلدارة الفندق في منطقة اإلنزال .
™ Adhere to wearing the necessary personal
protective equipment as per each area of the
quarantine.
™ When needing to enter and communicate with
guests, the appropriate distance must be taken
into consideration during the conversation,
provided that it is not less than one and a half
meters.
™ In cases of violence and resistance, all
necessary personal protection measures must
be worn to deal with such situations. It is
strictly forbidden to initiate action until
ensuring that personal protective equipments
are worn.
™ When receiving anything from the families of
guests outside the hotel, it is handed over to the
hotel management in the drop-off area.
