Subject: Measures and Guidelines Regarding the
Operation of Swimming Pools
ﺍﻟﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻻﺷﺗﺭﺍﻁﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻭﺍﺟﺏ ﺗﻁﺑﻳﻘﻬﺎ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺗﺷﻐﻳﻝ ﺃﺣﻭﺍﺽ ﺍﻟﻣـﻭﺿﻭﻉ:
ﺍﻟﺳﺑﺎﺣﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ ﺍﻟﻔﻧﺩﻗﻳﺔ
Greetings, ﺗﺣﻳﺔ ﻁﻳﺑﺔ ﻭﺑﻌﺩ،
I n l i n e w i t h t h e p r e v e n t a t i v e m e a s u r e s f o r
Coronavirus (COVID-19) issued by relevant
entities, and in line with efforts to sustain and
support the tourism industry and national economic
development, taking into consideration the
importance of community and public health, with
reference to previous circulars issued by DCT Abu
D h a b i r e g a r d i n g t h e r e q u i r e m e n t s a n d
precautionary measures for the safe reopening of
swimming pools in hotel establishments, it has
been noticed that some establishments are not
adhering to the measures, which is considered a
violation of law and may threaten the health of
guests and people around them.
ﺗﻣﺎﺷﻳﺎ ً ﻣﻊ ﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺟﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﻌﻧﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺻﺎﺩﺭﺓ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﻭﻟﺔ ﻓﻳﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻌﻠﻖ
(، ﻭﻓﻳﻣﺎ ﻳﺗﻌﻠﻖ19ﺑﺎﻟﺗﺩﺍﺑﻳﺭ ﺍﻟﻭﻗﺎﺋﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﻔﻳﺭﻭﺱ ﻛﻭﺭﻭﻧﺎ )ﻛﻭﻓﻳﺩ-

ﻣﻥ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﺑﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻻﺷﺗﺭﺍﻁﺎﺕ ﻭﺍﻟﻣﻌﺎﻳﻳﺭ ﺍﻟﻭﺍﺟﺏ
ﺍﻻﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ ﺑﻬﺎ ﺃﺛﻧﺎء ﺇﻋﺎﺩﺓ ﺗﺷﻐﻳﻝ ﺍﻟﻣﺳﺎﺑﺢ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ ﺍﻟﻔﻧﺩﻗﻳﺔ، ﻓﻘﺩ ﻟﻭﺣﻅ
ﻋﺩﻡ ﺍﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ ﻋﺩﺩ ﻣﻥ ﻫﺫﻩ ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ ﺑﺎﻟﺗﻭﺟﻳﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﺻﺎﺩﺭﺓ ﺑﻬﺫﺍ ﺍﻟﺷﺄﻥ ﻣﻣﺎ ﻳﻌﺩ
ﻣﺧﺎﻟﻔﺎ ً ﻟﻠﻘﻭﺍﻧﻳﻥ ﻭﻗﺩ ﻳﺗﺳﺑﺏ ﻓﻲ ﺗﻌﺭﻳﺽ ﺻﺣﺔ ﺍﻟﻧﺯﻻء ﻭﻣﻥ ﺣﻭﻟﻬﻡ ﻟﻠﺧﻁﺭ.
Therefore, DCT Abu Dhabi is directing all hotel
establishments in the Emirate to comply with all
health and safety directives and measures
announced earlier in the relevant guidelines. In the
case of non-compliance, punitive measures will be
taken against offenders according to the legislation
in force.
ﻭﻋﻠﻳﻪ، ﺗﺅﻛﺩ ﺩﺍﺋﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺳﻳﺎﺣﺔ - ﺃﺑﻭﻅﺑﻲ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺿﺭﻭﺭﺓ ﻭﺃﻫﻣﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﺗﺯﺍﻡ

ﺍﻟﻣﻧﺷﺂﺕ ﺍﻟﻣﺧﺎﻟﻔﺔ ﻭﻓﻘﺎ ً ﻟﻠﺗﺷﺭﻳﻌﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻧﺎﻓﺫﺓ.
You are also kindly requested to provide DCT Abu
Dhabi on ehs@dctabudhabi.ae w i t h a w e e k l y
statistical records on the daily occupancy of
swimming pools in terms of working hours and the
percentage of allowed guests or visitors on an
hourly basis which extends between 8am and 7pm
every day.

Please note that hotel establishments will be
inspected by DCT Abu Dhabi's inspectors to verify
compliance with these instructions.
